They kinda are that fast though, race horse will run at 60-70kph, the AC75 Americas cup boats can do up to 50kn which is 93km/hr! That's insane speed for a 75ft long boat!

It's all carbon fibre, even the sails. These days, you don't need to be a good sailor, just be a very good cyclist.
