Having just visited the home of a friend's friend and seen the pile of empties outside I have to say that one thing that that pisses me off is alcohol!!!

The home has several in their late teens who left school, close to illiterate, and spend all of their benefit money getting drunk.

One thing that doesn't get a full airing with regard to Hillsborough is the culpability of some of the Liverpool supporters. It's not just a question of the policing and the safety authorities.

Some of you may have heard part ofthe speech made by the (government) Minister at Anfield. Who was he kidding? His government have been in power for nearly twelve years. They could have reopened the enquiry years back.

Twenty years on and it still makes me angry.

Worst. Preseason. Ever.

Why in NZ sport and I suspect Australian sport, (particularly rugby/league/cricket), do commentators/journos have to add a "Y" to the end of everybody's surname to make it more matey/blokey?

For example the last Skywatch magazine or whatever it is called had to refer to Steve Price as "Pricey".

We have lots of "Jonesy" "Smithy" "Wanky" "Arsy" etc... Why can't you just say their proper name?

I am fairly sure it is linked to gayness in some way.

In Australia it's more common to add an 'o', eg Johnno, Huddo,Thommo, f**ko, Twito etc

I was going to say International $> Domestic, but yeah, you're right.

Remind me to send you a postcard from Buffalo (since I'm not planning on going to Utah )
