Has anyone noticed that Rod Oram is very quick to criticise and hardly ever offers a solution?

Are you in a wheelchair ?
Have you just had a hip replacement ?
Are you an amputee ?
If not, you have no right to complain about others using a lift when you are in one.

I'm surprised he has any readers to be honest as I think he tends to write a fair bit or dross. The reason why he writes because then he does not have to come up with a solution. It's easy for him to sit back and throw stones rather than suggest a fix

meh - stop being so useless at your job.

Something that pisses me off is people who have how they have their coffee in their email signature. eg....

Joe Bloggs

Massive Tosspot

6th floor

Large Frappachinno with caramalised onions on top.

So I don't know you, you've just asked me to go out of my way to help you, and you are also hinting for me to bring you a coffee?  Blow me.

OK, earthquake happens in Wtgn, all college sport is cancelled, except hockey. 5 games don't get played cos players can't get there. 2 of these are rescheduled straight away, but Wellington Hockey refuses to reschedule the other 3 (they say no turf time). The teams involved in 1 of these games, however, organise turf time, let Wellington Hockey know they have been able to reschedule the game and the game is played. Everyone is happy. Then, 1 week later Wellington Hockey decides not to sanction the game ..... wtf? Does this kind of bias happen in other sports?

Yip.  It's very poor.  A complete joke of a sport in fact.  Also, did I hear correctly that it's the first to NINE in the final?  You've got to be kidding.

While I agree that the whole thing is a shambles, have you watched any of it? Those boats match-racing at that speed is pretty spectacular viewing.

I'm loving the International Journal of the Fucking Obvious.

The other reason people support gun ownership in America is that people feel they can protect themselves from their government also should the government really effect Americans way of life.

Problem is most of the moderate Imams have either been killed, or are in hiding because they have received death threats for speaking out.

For what it is worth, the significance of a Imam from Minnesota making comment is that Minnesota has a large Somali population and is heavily targeted for recruitment by al Shabab. There been quite a few youth go, or attempt to get to Somalia.

When a US drone goes off target and kills a pile of Afghan kids do we expect Christian priests/ministers to start making apologies?
