When a US drone goes off target and kills a pile of Afghan kids do we expect Christian priests/ministers to start making apologies?

Why not. However there is a big difference with a drone that is off target and a bunch of murderers that deliberately go out to kill innocent civilians in a shopping mall or in a religious place of worship.

The thing is, the drones are rarely off-target. I think that the US military are guilty of murder through their "justification" of what constitutes a legitimate target.  It only serves to provide fertile recruitment for the Taleban and Al Quaedas of this world.

How is this news?

It is a perfectly rational business decision.  If anything it encourages me to fly AirNZ more.

Nice one the Daily Stuff (and you Kitchen - shame to see you sinking down to Burgess and Milmow levels).

This doesn't as much piss me off as frustrate me.
Is there a topic you know a lot about? Have you ever spoken to someone about your topic and it's clear that they know next to nothing about it? Yet, others think that person does and share that opinion about like it counts for something.

Not Ronnie's greatest, that was Porridge, but OAH's without Arkwright, is pointless. Yes I'm sure Granville still owns the corner shop, (ffs yeah right), except it's now a Bargain Booze franchise and sells herbal highs.

Only just read this but dont muck around with the guys working there they are only doing the job.
Ring the company doing the work and demand that the contracts manager comes to see you and the damaged caused.
Dont muck around start at the top and dont take no for an answer.
Most of the companies doing these kind of works are pretty responsible once you get past the actual workers, there are also some cowboys out there to who will cut corners.
Good luck and dont let it go.

Today has been a 'meh' kinda day.  I'm pissed off at myself.

Something good happens and I seem to try an sabotage it.  It's ridiculous.

Might need a few days to get over this trip then I will take another look at the fixtures. May need to bank a few brownie points if I am to get my Novocastrian arse over for Newcastle away in March which will probably rule out any more home matches this season after christmas...

Yacht clubs that hire out their club rooms for functions on race days, relegating their members to outside on the deck or upstairs in the pokey boardroom instead of being able to enjoy the facilities of the club they pay to belong to on the one day of the week they really want to be able to...

Kind of like if you were a season ticket holder for the local professional club and they took 20% of there games on the road! That would suck too...

Shambling around the local diary buying heaps of fatty or carby food and a dozen beer is one of the highlights of a hangover.

I know a Hospital Admin and she is awesome at her job, she is tiny but would also rip your lungs out for saying that as she used to run a very dodgy bar and has been a security orderly.
Like I said tiny wee thing she absolutely destroyed me in an arm-wrestling comp and she's older than me. Best of three she won the lot and I was trying.

From what I've seen on her CV the admin staff have sh*te loads of different jobs to do and a horrible workload and with sh*t pay.  They don't just answer the phone they do admission, legal, admin paper work, type reports for everyone, enter the staff rosters/pay/hours, annual leave, sick leave. Order the ward/equipment repairs, sort out patient and staff transport, manage the ward transport, that's getting a fleet car to a garage sort of thing. Do the filing, (massive job), order all the stationary equipment, train other admin and cover other wards as well as their own, take notes at many meetings and type up said notes. Keep the ward staff updated. Also a go to person on things like pay and leave and they meet and greet visitors.

I've probably missed stuff too.

Folk just do know half of what they do. G.P receptionists, well that's another story.
