Blimey I almost burst in to tears when I saw this one below, I remember getting one for christmas, I can just picture opening the yellow and red box, the smell of a brand new action man! (if that comment ends up in a sig there will be trouble...)

FT - you must have had one helluva a chldhood with your eagle, tbird and all those action men.

I see yours have the rubber hands so they can actually grip gear.

Yeah and later came the Star Wars toys.  Apart from the one new action man, my mum bought shrewdly all this action man stuff off a friend of my brothers who had grown out of it. We did alright for a bit in the early 80's until the family business went tits up, so there were a few toys for awhile.

The only trouble with the rubber fingers was they would rot, you end up with Action Men that looked like they'd caught leprosy.

No, my first thought was to mount it like a stallion mounting an Arabian thoroughbred mare.

Do it KP. You won't be disappointed. The Replacements were one of the best, most under-rated bands of the 80's.

Edit: They emerged from the same Minneapolis scene as the mighty Husker Du. Both bands had a friendly but highly competitive rivalry that produced some of the greatest punk/rock albums ever made.

True. That was quite a productive town at the time. The Replacements, Husker Du and Prince. It would be a bit weird but that's a gig I would gladly pay to see!
