Went to the roller derby for the very 1st time last night.  Quite enjoyed it.  Took a while to figure out the rules & tactics.  Could be a another spectator sport for me.

lol having been involved in a game once as a team coach its even more confusing on the bench as you're rapidly sending players on and off and there are loads of rules about who played the last set and what postiion they can move to and time offs make it even harder. one of the more complicated sports around tho many just go to watch girls in short skirts do some argy bargy. I've tried playing too and found its kind of boring skating one way when used to playing inline hockey plus you really can't be too rough or jst spend the game constantly sin binned

Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Yeah be nice if organic foods weren't twice the price of other foods. Someone(s) are laughing all the way to the bank. The other day I bought a jar of no-salt peanut produced in Nelson - $7.99!! The ETA stuff was $3.99. Free-range eggs are the same. How are low-income families suppose to eat healthy when "healthy" foods are beyond the budget of a lot of families?
