It's funny how Pauline Hanson, & people of like-mind, are anti-immigration, is that across the board or a select type of immigrant?  I suspect the latter.  Ironic that her father & mother are immigrants to Australia, & now she'll be an immigrant, of sorts, to the UK.  Parties like Pauline's & Winston Peters's advocate Australia for Australians & NZ for NZers, but what colour citizens?

Wonder where she'll end up in the UK. The urban centres are not like her former electorate in terms of ethnic diversity.

There's a long, long history of this in both countries.

Unemployment.

Apart from the obvious perks like Phoenix training, lunchtime kicks and so on.  When telemarketers ring and you tell them there is no one in the house currently in employment they disappear quicker than Carlos Hernandez when the pressure is on.

Sorry I just have to bump this because I'm so stoked at the moment (and I haven't had to resort to El Nino type pursuits of happiness - "my hair is thinning and my belly is round, etc")

TV3 weather tonight.  English presenter - got to Wgtn forecast and she talked about a big day (meaning weekend): "the rugby tonight and the FOOTBALL tomorrow"

Good work TV3 - keep it up

(although wasn't that keen on the sports section item on the Nix future in A-League still uncertain)

Nix in the A-League?

Pros - FFA (supposedly), FIFA
Contras - AFC, Bluemagic

Haha cheers. In retrospect I cocked up a fair bit - dissed Auckland a bit too much, didn't elaborate enough on why Branko didn't want us in the league, stuttered a bit and completely forgot to mention the yellow-out. But if it helped promote the Nix then I'm happy.

Kinda glad Kiwi FM don't archive their broadcasts though
