what does God have to do with the US, I know they claim to be a
"Godfearing" country and their so called government runs in a moral
way - but you have to be kidding me, the only time God comes into
their worl is when they need an excuse for killing another million
people - that's if "God" even exists.

Romney would lie to his wife about toothpaste purchases. I would
not trust him with 10cents. The Republicans have no frontrunner so
with any luck they will tear each other to pieces and make
themselves unelectable (if they are not already).
US and god? They all have to pretend to be godfearing - what candidate in history has ever had the guts to say they are not?

now down to two horse races in both parties. if mccain comes out anywhere near even on tuesday and plays well in the big states it would be hard to see romeny stopping his momentum. it seems like he would have the cross over appeal that he could really challenge hillary. if obama gets nomination i cant see anyone coming close

Hilary versus John election - all over. (Stuff Romney!)
By time of election in November, both candidates will be unpopular!! This in part due to the fact that I don't believe the US media and the parties can stop this being an even worse negative slanging match than before. Billions will be spent telling (dumb, under educated) US voters how bad both candidates are. This is the end result of a cultural decline in standards of public life over a couple of decades. The election will be decided by a mix of prejudice and misinformation. Save us all!!

If McCain wins the Republican nomination, he'll be the next US President - both Obama and Hilary are way too polarising to defeat a guy who has a much broader appeal to the average American.
McCain's main problem is that many ultra-conservative Republicans don't like him - not conservative enough for them. If Romney wins the nomination, whoever the Democrat candidate is (probably Hilary I'd say) will probably win, as Romney hasn't been able to galvanise anyone...but he's got sh*tloads of money, there are a lot of people in the US who don't like Hilary, and Obama is clearly vulnerable as well. So I wouldn't be writing Republicans off at all at this stage.

I wouldn't say obama is polarising. Most of his speakes are pretty powerful. Generally the US media don't like hilalry (mainly to do with Bill) so i can see I lot of Hillary bashing happening if she gets the nomination.
Anyone out there watch Fox news. They are so bias its just not funny. Actually i find myself watching it for a bit of a laugh.

What you have to remember that Obama's preaching to the choir at the moment, and he's still having problems overtaking Hilary (for now anyway), who herself is far from a beloved figure in the US, even among the Democrats. In a general election, Obama will be even more exposed - the US is still a nation with a lot of prejudiced people in it, and it'd be interesting to see if Obama can overcome that.
As for Fox News, it's the best comedy on TV right now. Sean Hannity always cracks me up...sometimes I have to pinch myself to remind me he's for real. And the saddest thing? Fox News is the most watched news channel in the US, they're killing everyone else in the ratings.
it is a worry. I think Hannity has far overtaken O'reilly as the most biased broadcaster. Atleast O'reilly is subtle about it. I was lover the Edwards VS O'reilly faceoff Shame Edwards dropped out.
The thing that goes in Obama favour is that all the redneck are in Rep states. So hes more likly to lose states they Dem wouldn't win anyway.
Their whole system of elections are so stupid anyway.

Can anyone believe anything that a US politican says! Its all poll driven and mainly attacks on everyone else!
I am sorry Edwards is out - at least he was trying to speak up for the poor and disadvantaged.

i dont mind fox so much, at least there not trying to hide there bias. i find there commentary and contributors better than cnn, really enjoyed karl rove yesterday.
interesting results, hillary wins big states but will be interesting to see final delegate count. thing that intrgiues me most is that even though every1 knows obama is surging and has the momentum hillary still is sticking in there winning stuff. what id like to see from obama now is some substance, have been impressed by his big ideas and vision but i think many of his speeches are just flower and inspiring flower at that but really would like to see something more

Reckon will stay in for the next two or three primarys to see if the converstive will flock to him. If its doesnt look like he will get out...and probaly get the VP.
I don't get this whole 'McCain isnt converative enough" and the far right won't vote for him in the national election. its a two person election in November. If converstive have a choice between McCain and say Hillary. Of course they will come out in support for McCain. the lesser of two devil i guess

No, they're just using that as threat in order to get McCain to make concessions and pander to them a bit, especially on illegal immigration.
No way they'd let either Hilary or Obama to become President just like that.

It's good to watch a mix I reckon..: CNN, Daily Show, fox, Late night
Letterman, BBC to get the different bias that each has. Letterman's not
really media but he always something to say re the elections. Should be
easy for when the regular presidential elections come round - all the
muds been slung in the primaries, they just need to show all the old
clips.
