Martin's off because we've signed Brent Tate and Gatis will be
replaced by Ian Henderson (an Aussie with Scottish connections),
who we're signing from Bradford. So, letting Gatis and Martin go
isn't exactly going to open doors for local talent.

We've got a few good young 'uns coming through, but I reckon it'll be a while before they make the 1st grade team. I usually go to the games early and watch the Auckland Lions, which is basically the Warriors reserves, games and there's some decent young players in there

all the postions, centres don't make or break a teams performance
on the field. In saying that if Tate brings some of the
insperational flair of the likes of McKinnon or Price then it can
only help.

Well Im sure Matt Rogers was licking his lips when he found out TODD BURNE was going to be marking him. Id much rather see Tate in at centre (or a local boy comin thru) than Tony Martin or Todd Burne. What do they bring apart from Martin being able to kick goals? Do u ever even notice him on the field? He does nothing! Thank god they released them for next season.

Simpkins is an absolute muppet. It was obvious that he was annoyed at Wade for some of the verbal exchanges going on during the game, and just needed some sort of ridiculous reason such as a "knee" to send him off. Simpkins needs to be suspended for a couple weeks

Yeah I think you're right. I've noticed that Wade gets under the
refs skin quite often during games. He must have a habit of
back chatting. I think his reputation has put him on the wrong
side of the officials and Simpkins wanted the last laugh.

Again Shayne Hayne robs the Warriors. Blatant penalty to win the
game turned down by Hayne who had already done his best to win the
Roosters the game by sin binning Mannering for nothing!

Great game by both sides but, as has already been said, Hayne is an
absolute d**head.
The Mannering sin-binning, not giving us a penalty in extra-time when the whole Roosters team were miles offside, saying Price lost the ball when it was clearly punched out of his his hands, it was just one dodgy decision (or non-decision) after another. The man's an idiot, always has been, and shouldn't even be allowed to referee kids games.

When Anasta made it 31-30 i almost died i sat their at my mates
head in hands then we pushed up the field on the last set of normal
time and Witt kicked that field goal that's when i knew this team
had what it takes to be genuine title contenders for the first time
since 02. I believe we can go all the way whether we do or not is a
whole other story.

Really good game, but the refereeing took some of the gloss off the
performance. Still draw was a fair result (but when has fair had to
do with anything). Warriors been exciting this season, lots of long
range tries.

Just seen it on youtube. Unreal. Great chance this season. Would love to see them do it. But surely they have to make the top 4 if they want to win it. In fact, from memory, no one's won outside the top 4. Too bloody difficult.
