Anyone got pictures of the Westpac Stadium, like

Without a doubt the most beautiful stadium in New Zealand, but seats should be closer to the field.

Rotorua International Stadium is one of my faves.

something about grounds where you can walk arouind the perimiter

So close to the touch line you can give the wingers wet willies- large bank for kids to slide down

Saw Wales beat Australia there in the 1997 RWC 3rd and 4th play off

Saw Ellery Hanley blaze the wing for Great Britain against NZ Maori League team

Me and 5oo other kids put Robbie Deans off a sideline conversion for Cantabs to lose V BOP

watched Top Town filmed there on my 13 birthday

ah the memories

Not sure football was ever played there but....

This may be highly predictable, but WELL SAID THAT MAN. I was at the Great Britain league match, my family Yorkshire saw me on TV. But your right, it is a great stadium. Not a bad view from anywhere in the place and a great pitch.
I think I was at the Kingz game there, would have been quite young though. Team Waikato played a few games there a couple of years ago.

Not to mention the TRUE home of the Bay, eh bopman?

I've got lots of fond memories of Baypark, but there's just something about The Hangi Pit.

/going up for Bay v. Northland this year

in my opinion, the westpac is a poor design.

i mean why the f**k did they make a round stadium in WELLINGTON. of all places.

the wind swirls and swirls.

they should have put in a few gaps round it where the wind can escape.

In fairness at ground level I think there are two exits where the wind can get out, not sure how effective they are however

at ground level the wind isn't that bad! the wind swirls around the top, unlike a square stadium which channels it you muppet!
