Its just not cricket

without the presence of the best supporters in the country! Recognising the unique atmosphere at Phoenix games, New Zealand Cricket and the Wellington Phoenix FC have come together for an EXCLUSIVE offer to Wellington Phoenix FC members. Not only do you get the chance to get tickets at a great price to the most excitement you can have at a cricket game, but for a limited time Aisles 33-36 have been reserved for Phoenix members at a special $15 price! This is a great opportunity to show cricket what real supporters are like.

Details:

What: Black Caps versus India InternationalTwenty-20

When: 7pm on February 27 at Westpac Stadium

Offer: Wellington Phoenix FC members can buy gold tickets for $25 (usually $35) or Silver tickets for $15 (usually $25). And Aisles 33-36 have been set aside for members so they can all sit together - but only until Wednesday February 25th after which time they will go on sale to the general public.

So get your tickets early by getting down to the Ticketek office at the Michael Fowler Centre, show your Wellington Phoenix FC membership card, and get your exclusive offer tickets!

Come on guys.. Lets Adapt.

The deal we are getting is great. I know this is a football forum but this is a great deal and India v. NZ will be a great game to watch.

Twenty 20 is a fun action packed slog fest (Supposedly) and the atmosphere is great. But as we all know.. There is nothing better than a Phoenix crowd.

Get along to it and sit (Stand) with us in the aisles and help support the black caps.

Can we put it this way.... A like minded group of people who happen also to be members of the Nix could get together at the Cricket and make some noise for the black caps as per the opportunity we are being given by NZ Cricket. Wear cricket stuff not Nix gear though
And if anyone says this is the Beige Brigades turf, you are having a laugh! Credit to them for what they begun but they seemingly have drifted into obscurity and seem to be more about whoring merchandise and helping people in London.

Agreed. Its very weird. As cool as it is to get a cheap ticket....the same thing happened with the netball...We support the football (as a group),nothing else. Individually we may support other sports, but yeah good phrase "feverwhoring"

Allegedly

Off topic.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I return to my earlier point, can we not think of it as a group of like minded cricket fans who also happen to be Nix fans. You know the Indians will all be there with bells and whistles and incredibly poorly written yet immensley comical signs.

You sure can.  Hence it's off topic for the Fever, but not deleted.

If you go back in the forums to last summer you will find much the same debate.

We arrived at the conclusion that we're not a cricket (or basketball, or softball, or rugby) supporter group so - even if there is a club link as with the basketball and the cricket.
