Ok, so I've been thinking on this for a little while. Apparently to start your own political party you need $1000.00 and a minimum of 500 members.....we pass the numebr criteria and I'm sure we can all come up with some money to get the $1000. So who should we nominate for each electorate?

I looked into this a few months ago. Apparently you can be a member if your under 18, you just dont count as a financial one. You need 500 financial members.

I'll be over 18 at next election anyways

So I can do a Christchurch Electorate :D

Clearly we have fairly disparate views on everthing, including, Phoenix, so we'd have to work long and hard at a clear statement of intent. I have been described as to the left of sensible whereas I know that ******* is close to the Raving Right. However I have faith in our mission and feel that these divisions are not insurmountable. What divides us may make us stronger.

When we get our clear mandate from the New Zealand electorate I WANT the Foreign Affairs post.

(I'd be happy , HAPPY, to stand against Trevor Mallard in the Hutt South electorate.)

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

5% of the NZ Super Fund would be invested in Wellington Phoenix.
Visas for all footballers coming into NZ , say to play against All Whites, would be automatically granted.
TVNZ would have live football written into its charter. These matches to be screened ad free in prime time.
SPARC's allocation of funding would have to meet NEW criteria.

  Point of order, Madam Speaker:

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Why? Cynical humour & you running for parliament have a lot in common with the real mccoys?? Except you'd probably do a better job for a lot less money - more food, but less money.

i was thinking more along the lines of being pissed 95% of the time, sluring during interviews and back handing non-supported in the stomach at rallies

How will we run Football Affairs then?  Will it be a policy (a Ministry) or operational (a Department)?  ...what do you mean running before we can walk???

We will not be a PUPPET government. We will not be beholding to anyone.

John Adams said "In politics the middle way is none at all". So we need some wide players... I guess.

The trrouble with the political spectrum is that it's not a straight line. It's more of a curve. So that's why the EXTREME right and the EXTREME left are pretty much one and the same.
So we need some wide players but not too wide. Anyone know any wide boys?

I would expect our policies to be very wide reaching and extreme, first and foremost we are football fans, which puts us in the extreme categary by default.

HN - I'm serious about this, I reckon it would be :
a) fun
b) rewarding and
c) well worth doing cos as LG says we can't do any worse than the current lot....

If, as there seems to be, the interest is there I was planning on looking at it and getting it all up and running, with the boards permission of course.

We could put our suppoer behind the Bill and Ben party, we could be a celebrity endorsement. The first thing they will do when elected is a funnel! And they promise not to promise anything, we could be a faction of that magnificent party
