CF meeting last night to look at a few things.
points:
Wakefield turf is looking at being two fields at this stage - but 150k short of $. WCC reckon a 1 May completion but consensus seems more like a couple of months later. Storm water drain underneath needs replacing. So the later it runs the more we are without two grounds. WCC officers say that $60 ph is a more realistic rate than the proposed $100 (100 would fk screw CF).
At this stage Te Fire is out at 1 July due to being part of the Rugby Lge Pk WC trainining set up.
Newtown will be out from 1 July.
CF likely is increase subs due to the turf charges - but minimal (2-3%) due to uncertainty around timing/costs. There will need to be a major review of turf user charging for 2012 though.
Possible mid season promo/releg for lower mens leagues (10-16 mooted)
Possible over 45 league if willing teams come forward
Calcott to coach the CF coaches (not true)
King hit of the night came when some whingy dude who had been complaining about CF not knowing the current exact number of rugby players in Wgtn also complained about having to provide names of junior players to CF. The Hermanator pointed out the irony that he wanted Cf to know the number of rugby players yet not their own playing numbers. boom.
Cricket wickts to be removed at Seatoun, Wilton and Miramar moved to artificials wickets some time.
um thats about it

Cricket wicket to be removed from Seatoun Park!!!
At long last. 18 years ago the club tried to get the WCC to have that wicket removed.
Well done to CF.

So just had a look at the NZF code of conduct (we had our Goalnet training) and the following clause could interest some who post on here. I don't imagine that it would be enforced but all members have to acknowledge they agree

As a NZF member and/or participant you should meet the following requirements with regard to your conduct during any NZF sanctioned activity:
- Do not provide comment to any media, or publish any comment (including on any website), on behalf of New Zealand Football or its Federations.
- Do not speak to any media in a negative way, or publish any negative comment (including on any website) regarding New Zealand Football or any of its Federations.

Haha my thoughts exactly when I read it. New registration forms to include YF username?

Oh dear.
The question is when does it apply: "during any NZF sanctioned activity" could mean pretty much any time at all.
Are there any penalties?
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Good thing I've retired. I can rip away without fear of any consequences...

As most on here would never sign anything (as most couldnt spell their own name) it wouldnt be enforcable, but of course you would have already realised that Smithy.
A dog with a bone :)

Sounds like I found a new way to get banned from matches. I guess the old red card for shouting/reckless tackle was getting a bit boring..!!

Bush-lawyering fail.
As anyone who has ever bought anything online could tell you, you don't need to sign something to agree to it.
