Changing details to create a duplicate player avoiding a red flag

Be incredible stupid if they have done that on purpose.

Agree, but I guess intent is secondary. If they have played a player that wasn't released whether intentionally or in error, the outcome is the same?

Plenty of great games today for both Central and Premier. Todays pick is Upper hutt v Wanuiomata,

such an important game for both. Lets hope its not too cold up there!! Im picking a 2-2 draw.

Capital Football must think the same, I see they have the Best Referee in Wellington Peter Linney on the game

Definately pick of the round. Apparently the refs are keen on the premier league this year due to the tightness of the league and the action. Linney a top ref so should be good.

I think the Upper game will be a high scoring one, both teams more attacking minded especially Wainui with their roster of imports and a couple of homegrown talents up front. Defences will be exposed so picking a high scoring 5-5 draw. Is there a limit on overseas imports?

iv just been informed that Wainui are at full strength today for the first time this year.

looking foward to this match up!!

Wainui throwing a statement to the rest of the league with a 4-1 win over UpperHutt. They were 3-0 up after a 21min Hat-trick to Tiago Balter

Wainui certainly sent a message today! 4-1 over a good upper hutt side.

Upper hutt missed a few good chances. Wainui finished better!

They parked the bus second half, who wouldnt when your 3 goals up!

Im already looking foward to next week v Petone!!!

Heard a whisper Petone have played the whole season with an unregistered/wrongly registered player. Could lose all of their points.

Can anyone confirm this? If true they will turn into the Leeds United of the Cap Prem, just can't get out of it.

I'm positive things will go wrong.

Biiiiiig games tomorrow, 1v2 and 3v4. Potentially title deciding. Tawa win and a draw in the petone game would make for an interesting run in. I cant see past either petone or wainui for promotion at this moment

Huge game today at Memoria turf!

I think Ray White Wainuiomata will beat Petone today.

Those imports are lethal in front of goal.

Looks like they have strengthened their backline aswell

Wow didn't see that coming. Congrats on winning the league petone!

A bit of a setback for Wainui. It was an odd game as they actually showed in parts they are capable of playing very good football. Unfortunately playing an offside line against a team with three of the fastest players in CF didn’t pay off. Petone outrageously fast up top.

Petone played fast and direct, and deserved the win. The front 3 made good runs inbehind and finished well.

Im not quite sure what happened to Wainui. Confidence too high from last weeks win? The imports were kept quiet and several players didnt show up and didnt seem to care. Certainly a big change from last years side!

Well executed game plan from pet one. Long through balls with 99 pace up front. Wainui couldnt deal with the ball in between the lines. Defence and keeper left in no mans land...

All pressure on Uppers now to reel petone back in.

Has anything happened with Petone? Last I heard CF had a meeting regarding the outcome Tuesday night?

I believe Petone have managed to retain their points. however they have been fined heavily.

CF re-writing the regs? There is no other way for it to go other than losing points in the way they are currently written.

I doubt they made a decision on the spot last night?

If they are only fined. This will bring a whole new dimension to the game. More affluent clubs will be able to play unregistered players whenever they feel like it. Knowing there is only a finacial penalty. Rules are in place to have a level playing field. This decision (if it has been made of course), could be the start of a slippery slope?

Or not.

Helps if you know all the facts.

How about waiting till Capital Football advise clubs of their decision.

Would love to know all the facts (if you have them fill us in..... go on). Looking forward to the decision either way. I do beleive though that this decision will set a precedant going forward for other clubs to rely on though do you not?

I was watching the little fella at training tonight and over heard conversation about this between a couple of blokes near by in cap football jackets. Heard the numbers 20,000. That's a hefty fine alright if that's the case. Have Petone got a Sheikh like Wainui do to take care of this?

Martin Garcia I'm lead to believe. Pretty sure he has the Junior/Youth roles at the club including 17s and 19s, along with a role at St Pats First XI and now the IBU First team. Busy man!
