Don't tell Upper Hutt #bleedorange

I enjoy going to Maidstone Park to watch  Upper Hutt but their strip reminds me so much  of Mitre 10.

Ironic that they're sponsored by ITM then!

I see that Wellington United has been dissolved by the Companies Office where they were registered as an Incorporated Society. What's gone on there?

Something really fun has happened there. North Wellington and Olympic as well - maybe more I didn't check that many.

I suspect some calls will be getting made tomorrow to resolve

It looks like there are a few clubs in the same boat - Olympic and North Wellington.
Looks like admin oversights as they are all still operating as far as I know.

Probably been dissolved for failing to file annual returns for a number of years. The registrar does remind you if you fail to do so and advises the consequences. Usually a reflection of club administration particularly if there has been turnover in key admin positions . Can also be other underlying reasons , perhaps difficulty in completing financial accounts. Not a big deal re registering - a small cost i think/

Olympic as a football club has not been on the Incorporated Soc list. It is inside a larger organisation.

Just went and looked at the site. All new system, with all Trusts, societies etc searchable from one search screen.

Suspect this could be a major computer based de-register of lot of societies, companies etc (Like IRD switched on to early) My Trust is not even listed

Companies Office updated months and months ago, this isn't likely to be related to that. Would be amazed if it wasn't the clubs being delisted for not posting annual reports - definitely the most common reason for de-listings to happen.

What’s the story with that Football Development Foundation which your name seems to be attached to?

Transferred to WU I believe. If I recall correctly was put on hold.

Who ever that ref was today in the Upper hutt V Wainuiomata game

should never ref again! He sent a player off for pushing an upper hutt player in the chest, missed a hand ball in the box late on in the match that Official 2 flagged but he ignored.

Wainui were on top but had two players sent off.

robbed big time! Not good scenes after the match either

That ref has been around a while and has a history for punishing anything physical. Agreed though, Wainui deserved at least a draw.

yes!

Joao Moeira and Taylor Schrijvers were playing for Miramar, Tommy Jackson and Ben Mata for Olympic

Jesse Randall and Nick Stanton were playing for North Wellington on the next pitch against Wellington United

Miramar got their 3 points more due to the fact Olympic gave away two penalties

The main factor in both games was the wind - it was a struggle just to stand up on the sideline at times!
