Petone 2-2 Seatoun

Permalink Permalink

Great stuff Seatoun. This div is getting as good as Cap1 results wise.

Permalink Permalink

What happened with Olympic?

Seatoun vs petone both teams had chances to win it. Solid game for 100k winds straight down the pitch haha

Petone firsts were up 6-0 once we left

Stop Out unlucky not to get the win and get the draw in the end. Had Great chances in the second half. Wind played a good factor in the result. Paolo i think you need to stop talking us up because everytime you do you jinx us. Also stop talking in third person all the time because your more involved with the club than you make out to be.

Pretty even first half. Olympic went 1-0 up through a penalty and took that lead into the half. We then rolled over the top of them scored 3 goals in midway through the first half and then a 4th towards the end.  As soon as Fifi went off for them in the 2nd half they had bugger all up top.

2 point seperating the top 5. Crazy.

Similar to the Northern Premier League in Auckland.  3 teams tied top of the table, 1 point covering the top 5 and 3 points covering the top 7!
Tightest league in years!

Leithal, I won't be changing anything I write or the way I write it because you say so. Why don't you just openly put who you think I am and what you think I do for the club. As usual though, you will be making things up and miles from the mark. unfortunately I haven't even been able to get down to the ground at all this season. I know people in the stop out team and once played in this grade.... Hence my interest.
Good input though mate.

Paolo - do you think maybe they need their coach from last year back?

Na doesn't seem like they need him, plus I heard he is a bit of an asshole...

Could explain it, just doesn't seem an accurate comment any way you look at it. Island bay are no where near the best team.

Yea I would agree SO wernt great in the home leg of the play off, probably a reflection of Palmy being a good team too though.

Ohh you havent been to any games this season,  ok my mistake

Did someone video the game for you to make this comment?

Taken from the comment about going off the score sheets... And just what I heard but seems how you know exactly who I am and what I do for the club, what is your point?or are you now avoiding the fact that you actually have no idea.

I still find that hard to believe. For someone who says he doesn't watch any 1st team games and has nothing to do with the club you sure have plenty to say Paolo. What just like you avoided my questions in my last post to you a few months back in the capital 1 thread and went all quiet? Since you seem to think i have no idea why don't you tell us? In saying that you have everyright to hide behind your forum name and talk all the garbage you want.

You still find that hard to believe do you? Well then, I guess your spot on as usual lethal. No one avoids your questions, they just show them the respect they deserve and don't bother gracing them with an answer.

Since you seem to think i have no idea why don't you tell us?........ This question is another brilliant example of that. You have previously portrayed that you know who I am and that I am "involved" with the club but clearly you don't, otherwise you would just say and not attempt to get me to answer the question for myself.

Anyway, I will take the opportunity to continue to contribute to this thread under my forum name as that is how this site is set up. As for hiding behind it and talking all the garbage I want.... Well I don't consider my comments on this site garbage. Then again you can feel free to oust me for who I really am and what I do for the club, as you know everything.

Apologies to everyone else who doesn't really care for our little private convo. Let's continue with talk about Cap Prem. Any big fixtures lurking for this weekend?

If Olympic and Miramar finish first and second then some donkey team from Central will automatically be promoted. Think in the last few seasons you had to win your league to enter the playoff.

Promotion/Relegation

1. The following will determine promotion/relegation:

a) The 1st or 2nd placed team of the Capital Football Premier and Women’s Premier League will play-off with the 1st placed team in Central Football, home and away.

unless of course, Capital Football rewrite their regs.

Never had to win your league. They changed it to this a couple of years ago. They wanted to make it only the winner eligible but I said that was pants so top two was a compromise. None of the committee apart from me foresaw what might transpire this season in Cap Prem. Be a shame if a Capital team misses out.

Fix Cap 1 by bringing in a central team and the highest place capital team from Cap Prem who is not blocked to  C/L at season end. Will only be possible if a central team  will step up. Can use 2 capital teams.

Sort it now so 1/ clubs can prepare financially 2/ clubs that cannot or do not want to can declare early.

Save the angst from 3 team relegations at year end,

Now don't shot me

Bit late. I went to Stop Out 2 v Wellington United 2. Great effort by both sides to TRY and play football in that wind.
Felt shattered and I only managed (watching) eighty minutes. ...   excuse:  P (nearly 2) had run of steam.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

3-2 Wharf over Olympic. Good tight game reffed poorly! Wharf 2-0 up playing well conceded just before half time. Olympic came out strong in second got the equaliser, only for Wharf to go down the other end and make it 3-2. Really tight from then on. Final score 3-2
