I thought Dicey played a big role in the NW win over Wharf. Sob.

Did any one get the final score at Alex Moore? No Alderdice, no Cheriton. Marist hardly touched the ball -couldn't keep it when they did. Ref tried to keep them in touch too. North Wgton were wasteful too

sounds like a blood bath for marist.

i hope NW cleaned up the mess they made as well as the points.

only water allowed on the turf according to WCC rules.

i hope this form carries to the cup game next week.

Settle down mate the ref was taking the piss In general.  Love how north wellington get on the bandwagon when you have  few good good games. Long way to go in the season You weren't laughing at kilbirnie last year mate around round 18

fair dues, NW owed Marist one after the beating last year which effectively stopping the run for promotion.

Though that's the great thing about sport every season brings new hope and opportunity. Good to see a few people starting to look forward rather than back as far as NW are concerned.

It will be a massive step up for the cup game - will see how NW go. Hopefully they will be at full strength

How is last year at all relevant?

Looks like a right thumping dished out by North Welli!

Long way to go in the season for Marist too, laying the foundations at #10.

i agree Green machine that it is too early to start thinking of promotion.

i also know last year Marist had a fortress at Kilburnie park and had some great upsets that also included NW who didn't allow for this and missed the opportunity to get 3 valuable points.

This year is a whole new ball game and 4-5 games is not a go indicator of  form or lack of form but we hope when we get a win or two in a row that form is here.

Karori guys I spoke to said they had a few errors that cost - they had possession but scoreline was a bit flattering to Mar (at least I think that's what they were saying). Mar pulled out Woody, Batts and Steelo apparently

See Miramar are turning things around after a slow start. Beat Wests on Sunday!

Do they have an advantage over other clubs by playing Sunday? Gives them a choice of a larger pool of players. ..especially last weekend with their reserves not having a game.

did they play Sunday's last year? It's pretty lame but if they are only doing it cos of DF Pk being out then fair enough

Pretty sure they have for the past few years. Doesnt make a lot of sense as they aren't even using DF.

Lower Hutt have been doing the same for the last couple of years as well. I remember them dropping a couple of first team players against us last year.

Miramar cap 1 have played Sunday since 2013.

West played a team on Sunday's at least 2 years prior to that.

It in no different to playing turfs mid week or nights the same regrade rules apply.

Its good to see Mir CL coach and staff still wanting to play football.

Hope everyone remembers to renew their Miramar Cutting passports for post U20WC games later in the season.

What's the deal with Wests' games at Ole? Are changing rooms and showers available and any form of after match?

Changing rooms and showers all good. No after match tho, but that's not unusual when first team are playing shortly after.

some interesting games this week should be a good indication on how things have developed since the start of the season.

island bay have the leagues whipping boys or maybe not?

3 points island bay in the bag i think. just goals to be decided

tawa who pumped 6 past the the whipping boys last week but they may of just had some luck go there way or have they got some spunk in there side and will give waterside a scare or two?

then there is NW vs West's who got the draw off the undefeated island bay last week but have to play on turf at the later time of 3pm which might just rattle them.

didn't see that one coming or the LH Marist 0-0 ….

even the whipping boys put up a fight and only lost by 3 and scored a couple to help offset the GD column

i Got a report of the NW game that West's youth Got outsmarted by the more experienced players that NW have picked up over the last few  seasons.

but a win is still a win and NW deserve it for a better plan and strength on the field i was told.

so it is starting to be a two horse race at the top and the teams at the bottom are getting there shark together and might not be so easy on the turnabout games ???

any info on the tawa game anyone.

score was close and lots of goals.

Not much fight put up by United. Goals were an oggie and questionable penalty.

Big call on a top 2. Seems far more a top 5 really. All able to knock each other over.
And looks like it'll be another dog fight at the bottom.

Top of table clash on Monday could prove crucial - NW with a chance to open up a gap on the rest.
