Crazy game at Nairnville.  The Goldenrods scored after a minute - after fifteen minutes it was 3-3.  6-3 at half time.  Sanity returned in the second half as Island bay attacked but we held them out and added one more for a 7-3 victory.

Refereed Porirua City versus Wainui. Two sporting sides with good committment and great senses of humour! Nice to have a game without the incessant moaning (Brooklyn Pints!).

In the end PC had too much skills up front and have a rock solid defence so the game was not really in question for most of the match. Wainui have a couple of players who work very hard. The Wainui goalkeeper made three or four fantastic saves so credit to him.

There were some pretty exhausted goldenrods after that game.  Porirua threw everything at us in the second half  but somehow we managed to keep them out.  Unfortunately our centre half broke his collar bone in the game and is out for the rest of the season.

Unlucky Bro! We'll be there to watch the piglets vs porirua, might even help with some dodgy reffing decisions if I can beat the whistle outta Jim! If not then I have been practising my drunken sideline sl*gging.....See you there.

Looking forward to getting a game in this weekend hope the weather is kind to us in Div 13.  Big Porirua clash as burbs host PC 2-1 in 1st leg of local derby im sure burbs will be out for revenge. We are still smarting after suffering our 1st loss of the season in our last match so will look to get our push for promotion back on track. Should be a cracker of a match.

It's derby weekend in Capital 13 - we're up against the Uni Bombers at Kelburn, anxious to get revenge for the close 2-1 loss we had last time.  We want to stretch our unbeaten run to 5 games though we're hurt a little by injuries and absences - still should be a cracker game.

Hopefully, the Piglets can stall the Vauxhalls winning run

Top of the table clash this week. 1st time PC have played Flamingo's this season thanks to 1st round cancellation.  PC could well be a bit rusty after 2 weeks break. Hope the Uni boys have been making most of the break (Party on Dudes). Long range forecast not hot it will be a mud bath come Sat.

OH yeh. we get to play. Heres hoping for no hypothermia and a result against the only unbeaten team in our Div.

Great Effort by PC to inflict 1st defeat on Uni flamingos today 4-1. Very hard physical game. Weather certainly had done it's worst to Fortress Waihora, the rest of the season's games there will certainly be difficult as it one big mud bath now.

Good game on the weekend.  Easy goal for the opposition (Flaming O's) early in the second saw our boys fall flat for a bit until sideline support gave them the edge....   However, two early and two late goals made for a pretty convincing win.

Word on the street is that they don't want to play Porirua City again....   Wah, wah, wah.. somebody call the Wahmbulance.  Don't think it had anything to do one of our Ancients molesting to opposition striker..... or did it?

Pitch at Anderson Park was waterlogged after a downpour just before kickoff and the game quickly degenerated into a lottery.  Brooklyn scored about 10 minutes from half-time.  The 'Rods clawed out an equaliser after a long ball over most of the mud.

Then we got the winner 5 from the end.  There was a good shout for a penalty right at the end when one of the Brooklyn players didn't release after a tackle, but Uni hung on to a tight 2-1 win.

Away in Karori...sorry Titahi Bay...this week.

You forgot to mention that there were at least 3 University players at least 5 metres off side when you scored the goal. And it was allowed by YOUR referee.

Vauxhaulls this weekend? not likely!! but if it happens looking forward to carrying on from our best performance of season last week. Wakefield 4 by the sounds of it has no grass on it so will be interesting trying to pass ball around.
