Wilso, he probably didn't have a clue what was happening, just like he didn't in the clubrooms afterwards lol

Nightz who are you with this year as the Martians are no more?

Ahh this sounds like the division I should be playing in, fat, slow, more interested in the beer at the end!

Beer at the end?

Grade 16 is all about a beer before the game, a beer at half time and the remaining 10 after the game.

I'm in our new masters 4 team with about 7 of the old Martians, some of the JJ's and a few others. The younger Martians are now in Petone's capital 9 team and going to normal form (they lost).

Please note we are currenty top of masters 4

Are you playing on Oz Orpewise?

I'm available if anyone in Upper/Lower Hutt area needs someone, even just as a fill in.  I am going to have to try and bribe the roster guy to try and get saturdays off though!

Thanks for asking Nightz  I am playing for a team called Kingston Cannon Saints in Div 4 of the Southern Tasmania League.  Slightly better standard than the old Div 14 !  But not much.  Played two games this season lost 3-2 and 2-1 so far (so the results are similar too!!).

Lucky to still be playing in season 42 !

You will enjoy Masters 4...I played a couple of games for Stop Out McCreadie in that division (usually as a ringer in a 2-30 kick off after we had finished an early kick off game!).  Suffers from the worst refereeing ever seen on the planet (eg non existent!!!!!!).

Best wishes to the Slayers...good to see you are continuing although Martians and Mana are no more....we had a great couple of seasons all together eh?

2-2 (I think) between mighty Unicycles against PC this afternoon on a rock hard Ngatitoa.

It wasn't cold, so I could actually breathe when I ran, and I don't even feel tired for it. I'd be all for summer football if it wasn't for Cricket.

2-1 to Porirua.

Nah, we got thumped 7 - 2 by a very serious Olympic.  We had a few players away and only just managed to scrape enough players.  Not that it would probably have mattered :)

We'll put a more detailed match report up on our website later today or tomorrow.

Sorry guys, I foolishly trusted the Capital Football site to have the results correct but I now see they got a few reults around the wrong way.

What's the go with the Tawa team?  They seem to be scoring lots of goals.

We have them this weekend.

Young, Fit, know each other. and in our defence our leaky leaky defence we don't have any goalies in our team so make do with what we got. broken fingers and all.

Good luck for that game.

They have a young guy up front (#11 I think) who is quick and skilled but doesn't enjoy even light shoving when jostling for position.   :)

Hopefully you can provide your own ref and if you can, keep a real close watch on offside.  They will mill that to full effect.

Guilty as charged. Who knew after that intense training it would be me tackling myself that caused an injury? Very unhappy.

On the plus side, if these Greeks are half as grumpy as expected you're probably better off without me on the pitch

The other North Wellington Team.

You have a habit of injuring yourself Wilson. Remember kelburn park having a kick round?

Hammered by the Bubbles.

Can anyone off Greek persuasion confirm my suspicion that the '11' is Dimitri Barbarouses running around in 16 with his father and co ?

If it was HN its a pity thats the grade he's playing in. I watched him a lot when he was younger and the boys got talent, just a pity he has a attitude to match it.
