Christ, they must of had a hell of alot of unluckiness and bad refereeing decisions.

Not really, just enough to not be able to get off the bottom of the table. There wouldve been about 12 points throughout the season that BNU had robbed from them as a result of various unfortunate circumstances.

We should have won that game, finishing cost us. BNU had one shot and that was actually a miss hit cross. They held their nerve in the pens so full credit to them. Will be interesting to see how they go next season.

See you all next year for what I can imagine will be another hard fought season.

I can't believe Uni didn't win that game. One way traffic.

Neither can I. That summed up our season though. Solid defence not giving away many chances but sturggling to take our chances up the other end.

It's a shame. Uni would be a better acquisition to Cap1 than BNU. You've got some handy players.

Number 8 and 11 really stood up for us in the midfield. And I thought our left back was very good, especially since he got a very heavy head knock at the start if the game. A few of the younger guys will be better with another season under them, and we were without one of our best players for the second half of the season, so we will be looking to go one better next year.

There were numerous players missing for BNU throughout as well, + a couple of late arrivals which we couldve used from the start. And i missed the entire season through an injury i received in Feb, its only just coming right now...
But Im just glad we managed to stay put, especially for me having to watch the season go by from the sideline. We really need to learn from the last couple of seasons and make the most of 2011, we wont have another chance after that. 3 strikes and youre out.

I know, I'm sorry I couldn't play

Well everyone really summed this up: we should have won, but didn't. It happens, but it stinks, too!
Guess we have to complete another little miracle next year and go one better.newzealandpower2010-09-14 17:17:03
