oh, my bad. Think the bush were there last season though. Petone went up, Eastbounre and Stokes vegas went down. Dont think ancient ones could be promoted because of their 3rd team in cap 3?

Yes they can, Petone have 3rds and Armanis in Cap 3.
Wainui and Acient ones havent played each other yet so those 2 games will be important for each. I think Cougars still have to play Rapa, Ancient ones and Wainui

Rapa were in Cap4 last year as well. Karori and BNU went down, Armanis went up but Ancient Ones stayed down in place of Paekak who won promotion from Horowhenua.

IB United 2-2 BNU. Pretty gutted to have not taken this one, we (BNU) conceded from a deflected cross and a stab past our keeper who came out, only for a defender to slip over just as he went to clear off the line. We scored from a direct freekick and a stunning bicycle kick, had a tonne of chances on goal in the first half as well as numerous good efforts on the second. IB had a couple they shouldve put away but we had far more.

Loooong time ago I know but - that was actually a decent left foot chip shot, not a deflected cross (it didn't hit anyone!).

Are you still playing for BNU in Cap 4?

It deflected off the shin of one of our guys, i was about 1m away and remember it quite clearly. It was that dude Tim who scored it.

Like AJ said, it was definitely deflected. Was a good shot nonetheless, not sure the deflection actually had anything to do with the result.

I don't envy you!! what happened to you guys this season? I remember the team being at least somewhat competitive in Cap3 despite relegation last year. Is this the second/reserves team?

BNU managed to be 2 - 0 up in the first 10 minutes the second time they played IBU but completely lost their way after that...

Yeah we were ok last year, but this year its a completely new squad. We only have 2 players (including myself) from last years reserves this season. The others either moved up to the firsts or left after relegation. And now we only have about 7 in total left, playing games with a couple of weekly ring-ins just to get the squad to 9 men and still getting absolutely wasted. Players have just walked out halfway through the season.

We just arent good enough, we've been a charity team this season. If you turn up youre in the squad, just like every other team in the entire club. It needs to change. Basically too many people arent good enough. Im reluctant to say anymore in case someone reads this and has a cry
