Yeah so you don't know shit, and that explains why you question some of what I post. No problem having a chat if someone points you out.

Fuck this stupid game

Gone all quiet again. The Venus Shield is a decent enough trophy isn't it?

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I doubt it - they will need the match practice for those games as they won't get any proper games in a while

.. yellow cards...red cards......not worth the risk to key players

Nothing in it for either team, if they're smart they'll both play their U19 teams.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I'm sending in my apology now. Trapped by an essay on migration..... mind you not sure my contribution to revenue would be that high in any case.

Wharf 1 (Lewer) Stop Out 1 (penalty). Game got somewhat testy after halftime. Ref (Mike S) called both skippers together to say "no more" but shortly after there was a tackle plus a retaliation which saw a red for each team. Wharf hit the bar at 1-1 with 10m to go. Wharf players hotly contested SO's penalty, saying "he fell over".

Marist well and truly tonked by IBU

Giving IBU second on goal difference
Jamie Mason getting golden boot(Maybe?)
But IBU no goalie for start of next season as he got sent off pretty harshly

Lucky SO made multiple changes for the somewhat "testy" game, expected a bit more from Wharf with that in mind. Heard Wharf seemed quite keen for a bit of a kick fest, horrible David Batty challenge on SO's young player in midfield one of a few efforts that was mentioned.
Did SO's Eddy Burnette hit the crossbar as well? Apparently Wharfs red carded left back was still keen to take on SO's samoan player after the game? Just another feisty Stop Out V Wharf encounter! Wharf will certainly be hoping for a 12 team Wellington top league, might be the best way into a top grade.

Seem to have struck a few nerves... Mr banter, aint keen for banter? Didn't mention anything about SO qualifying for CL. Still wondering if I said somethings that were not true, because some of those things were things I had heard not seen.

Going back to the earlier query. Golden Boot was Stop Out's Joe Gaughan.

What dates are the play off games for central league? PNM won the fed league today, so stop out vs PNM in playoffs

I'm hearing weekend of 14/15 Sep then return leg 21/22 Sep.  Not confirmed though!

Ridiculous - Palmy Marist get to play two pointless League games, while Stop Out sit on their heels for two weeks. THEN a week after that there will be a play off game between Seatoun and Wainui/Marist.
Surely those league games can be moved/skipped/defaulted? I know that is a bit stink, but clearly the playoffs should take precedence?

Id think the games would go ahead, can't see PNM wanting to miss out on footy for 2 weeks before a playoff. i guess the other teams have nothing to play for so they could default the games to PNM, but the would get a fine,

It does seem tough that both Marist and Wainui have to hang around for a whole month for a game that only one of them is going to play. Nor is it easy for Seatoun to keep up their training and form.

More motivation for Seatoun though.

I still think it's harsh on Stop Out, they are in great form and ready to go! - friendlies vs Marist, Wainui and Seatoun maybe?

It will be really important for each of those clubs to put the work into making sure their preperation is good. In some ways it can be better as those clubs can almost design their own preperation. It will be interesting to see which ones put in the work and which ones make an excuse out of it. Not to be disrespectful but Im not sure those 3 teams are going to be ideal preperation for Stop Out leading into their play-offs.

Probably harder for a team like Wainui to stay motivated when they've been struggling all year. Shouldn't be so much of a problem for Seatoun. It's alot easy to keep going when you're winning.
