Weakest looking Cap Premier I've seen for a while.

Stop! Don't even think that. How bad will I feel if Stop Out don't win it now???
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Stop Out would probably be my pick to Win the League this year. The New English Lad up front  looks to be a very good pick up for Stop Out and I would be surprised if he does not go close to Golden Boot this year.
That is probably the biggest Jinx posting ever! Sorry Mike!

Me leave Marist, and the warm tender embrace of Brian and the cheap clubrooms after playing on Kilbernie Park? Never!
It'll be nice to not be the shortest guy for once, when shaking hands with the opposition!

Wharfies and Island Bay will surely be up there too? I think Stop Out will win but they are VERY angry people! Can self destruct

I went to watch Angry Stop Out play Island Bay. It was an OK enough match. Real first game of the season affair I thought.

A great day to be outdoors.

Two reds for Olympic. Including Mikey who had been stood down from CL for bad discipline.

Yea he looks handy , heard Petone were straight on the scene splashing cash at him and Stop Outs other englishman too though.

$400 per game! That's ridiculous. I hope all the local boys who have played for Petone for years are now being offered big money this season.

Two reds for Petone as well - one for their keeper for handling outside the box. I thought it was harsh, but others didn't think so. Other one was for a lad telling the ref to fornicate himself.
Petone pretty dominant in first half, however, in the second half got wound up at the ref and we got a bit more back into it. On the balance of play Petone probably deserved to win, but we will take the three points

I picked Olympic finishing with nine because it happened last year. Apparently the lad who got the red told our player twice his size that he was going to get a red card against him today. Fair enough he got his wish. Easiest team to wind up ever

Wrong again...it was Socrates that was the left back , Aristotle was the right back with Platon and the mighty Hrodotus in the centre of the defence... Zeus was the keeper..!!!!!!!

Technically you're correct, but I was referring to the cup winning side of 360BC.  That year Aristotle had the full year at Left back. As you may remember Socrates ruptured his ACL in the final league match at the Parthenon following a clash in the Penalty Area with Hippocrates in the 361BC Season

I am absolutlely "stunned" at the level of detail .... It would have been the perfect description if not for the "small" mistake...it was played at the then National stadium at Olympia ( you know the one....that place that the Olympics were held every 4 years....!!!).... which of course is the basis for our "Club Name". Would love to see you at our new clubrooms at Wakefield Park and have a chat about that particular game....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol How right you are!
No Olympic sides in our grade but with three Island Bay teams will get sick of the inside of their shed so will undoubtedly pop across for an Ouzo and a Souvlaki with your good selves at some stage!

Oh, and the Souvlaki at the new Greek clubbies is astonishing.

Tough start to the season for Wainui's new coach... a loss to Uni and clearly not really troubling Island Bay at all. There was quite a bit of talk pre-season about them having major changes under this new guy, does anyone know anything about him?
