Yeah if they failed to get dispensations. Thems the rules

What's really disappointing is that Lower Hutt will bear the cost when it's the Phoenix Academy that have done this. By guaranteeing the Phoenix teams in Cap Prem and Cap 1 they've introduced a bit of moral hazard.

Nah this would go back to a month ago and before probably
Capital Football will communicate the outcome of the hearing to clubs no later than 5pm Tuesday 9 August. Furthermore, any changes to the above competitions will be actioned prior to the following scheduled round of the competitions on the weekend of 13 August.

Wouldn't they only lose the points in the games where they played a player that was underage and with no dispensation, so would imagine it won't be ALL their points?
2ndBest
No.
But I’d guess like 11 points in prem.
Maybe 7 in Cap1.

So if they lose points for various games, are those points are awarded to the opposition teams?

Just clicked on this- does this mean that LH and the Nix are in effect seperating next year?
The committee did not reach a decision yesterday as they require more time to properly consider the decision and appeal. They will reconvene on Thursday 11 August.

IBU beat Whanganui 5-2 on the weekend.

So Stop Out returning to Central League? Any late player movements?
Stop Out lose and IBU win. Going to be an interesting finish to the season
Dear Clubs,
Capital Football would like to inform those clubs participating in the Capital Football Men’s Capital Premier and Capital 1 competitions of a significant breach of the Capital Football Playing Regulations across both competitions.
Capital Football are currently working through this breach according to the processes outlined in the Capital Football Playing Regulations and NZF Disciplinary Code. As the case is ongoing, we cannot provide any further details until the club in question responds to the Competitions Administrator's decision, sent at 12pm Thursday 28 July.
With no round of fixtures scheduled for these competitions this weekend due to the NZF Chatham Cup Quarter Finals, we will have the outcome of this decision communicated to clubs prior to the next scheduled round of the competitions on the weekend of Saturday 6 August.
We appreciate your patience and should you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

The club, singular? So it would be a club with teams in both CapPrem and Cap1? There is a choice of three, excluding Central League teams.
5 teams in both.
Probably Lower Hutt.
Probably Lower Hutt.
Serious wording. Wonder if points will be dropped. I have heard it’s Lower Hutt

I love this. Local footy delivers the spice yet again.
So playing underage players?
Out of curiosity - what is the age requirement to play in the National League? (sorry will look myself but if anyone knows off hand)
Absolute amateur time from them if this is the case. They deserve to find themselves at the foot of both leagues
So IBU who are 2 points off top, lost to LHC last week and then complained about LHC playing players without a dispensation?

Any news on what is happening??
Capital Football would like to provide a further update to those clubs participating in the Capital Football Men’s Capital Premier and Capital 1 competitions regarding the notification of a regulation breach in both competitions (sent Thursday 28 July).
We can now confirm the club in question is Lower Hutt City AFC and is centred around player dispensations.
Lower Hutt City AFC have appealed the Competitions Administrator's ruling. The was sent to Capital Football on Wednesday 3 August. The Regional Association Disciplinary Committee will hear the appeal on Monday 8 August.
Capital Football will communicate the outcome of the hearing to clubs no later than 5pm Tuesday 9 August. Furthermore, any changes to the above competitions will be actioned prior to the following scheduled round of the competitions on the weekend of 13 August.
Please be aware that should the appeal be unsuccessful and the original decision upheld, it will have a significant impact on both competition tables in Capital Premier and Capital 1.
Somewhat amusing that LH could lose all their points but still overtake NW with 3 wins in their final 4 games.

Wouldn't they only lose the points in the games where they played a player that was underage and with no dispensation, so would imagine it won't be ALL their points?
Regardless, they have the opportunity to do it correctly and survive. I imagine it would be pretty important for them to keep a team in cap prem.
I’ll be curious to see if an appeal changes anything, will cap football bend to the Nix?!
Points in dispute will be those wins where ineligible players played - not all their points
Do we know how many games that is?

The committee did not reach a decision yesterday as they require more time to properly consider the decision and appeal. They will reconvene on Thursday 11 August.
Communication of the appeal outcome has therefore been delayed. We are planning to update any changes to the competitions before the scheduled round of the competitions this weekend, 13-14 August.
We will provide a further update to Clubs on Friday 12 August.
Again, we appreciate your patience while we work through this. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
We can now confirm that Lower Hutt City’s appeal has been declined by the Regional Association Disciplinary Committee. As a result, the initial decision by the Competitions Administrator will stand.
Looks like the points have fallen in Stop Outs favour and they don’t lose all their points.
But they lost ALL there points in Cap 1 😬
