How does it go now with auto relegation - Bottom C/L team drops to Premier. Top Capital Premier team plays top Central premier team(if they want into C/L) on a home and away basis. ????

Island Bay v Karori for Capital spot.

Likely Tawa drop and Stop Out to beat Palmy Marist

The challenge, when it in place, was hardly ever won by the defender. There was one instance at HoF where Petone (challenger) drew with Team Taranaki (defender) AET in the second leg and then lost a penalty shoot out with some of the worst kicks you ever saw in your life. But Petone won the challenge the following year (also against TT) and others like Stop Out, Tawa, Wairarapa also won the challenge.

No I think a score to settle Sunday 2 pm in the Rapa. Politialy incorrect. But Steineken agrees

Personally I think auto relegation is a heck of a lot better than a play off. I was always pro auto-drop as it was a bit of a joke how a team got an extra life. Will be interesting to see how Tawa and Utd go scrapping it out

For what it's worth. I agree with you on the idea of automatic relegation. It's interesting that we can have a system where a team needs only score a SINGLE goal all season and manage to retain their status.  (Lose every league match. Draw 1st playoff leg 0-0, win second 1-0.) ...I'll shut up now.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Seem to have lost a ton of experience from last year and dont seem to have the younger players who are able to fit those players boots

Only one side turned up at Endeavour to play football today, the other we're more interested in swearing and talking shit. Nerves going into their cup clash perhaps? Surely Mar have the title now.

Including a two footed tackle that not only go the Wairarapa united player straight red, but it popped the match ball.  Brilliant

Brilliant is one way to put it. Disgraceful is another. Everyone thought it was the sounds of a broken leg.

And those facilities at Howard Booth are the worst I've seen

With a game on before I imagine they were cold showers.

Think two people got showers before they went cold.

I wasn't really saying the tackle was brilliant, just the fact that the ball got popped. And can't figure out why the showers would have run out. The same thing happened after the first game. Maybe Phil hasn't paid the gas bill?
