TJ was at thier training last week.  Not sure if he will be first choice as someone said he was wanting to be a non-travelling reserve.

I heard that Mike Greene (that guys from Warfies) is transferring to Island Bay as player/coach. Also heard from a little birdy that Gary Minshull (long haired guy from Wgtn Untd) is off to Petone for the season. Lastly heard that Nick van Hattum is off to Lower Hutt.

Its no longer a problem.

Rooker must be due to move clubs, he's played half a season at Upper Hutt, I hear he's going to Lower Hutt to play with all the other ex Upper Hutt players, LH whole team will be ex UH soon.

Tony Jamison at Greeks cause I hear Wairarapa has English GK who just appeared, met Phil on the street!

Who coaching what teams? that will depend on where some players play, can't see to many going to Wharfies with Shaun Gill in charge,

Petone looking good if all the stories are truth!

I thought this was a "Central League Gossip" thread, why are people talking about the lower grade teams on here?

Who cares about Wharfies, Wairarapa or Upper Hutt? Get your own thread.

Tony Morrison is training with Petone by the way. Still to agree personal terms.

That was a joke.  Sarcasm in fact.  Jose's a great bloke.  Never seen him coach grown ups but he's great with kids.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Wests will win, Miramar close, Greeks will under-perform (according to them) and sack thier coach, Lower Hutt will piss everyone off, Stop Out will hardly be noticed apart from their star players threatening to go to other teams, Wellington Utd will come last, Petone will be very average but beat the 'mar on the last day of the season thus ruining their championship hopes.

Wests will win because...Stu will be back or will Matt still take the lead????

Surely theres gotta be club outside Miramar and the Greeks to challenge Wests. Dark horse could be Lower Hutt unless they have lost too many experienced players???
And if the rumours are true with Petone (player movements from YF site) then surely they will be competitive and not too mention Napier - they need to push on from last year and hopefully some of their NZFC form might rub off on the CL.

Wests should have too much depth i would have though. Their young players should be coming through.
Cant see too many of the Nat Lge players being assed to play.
Petone rumours are never true - Toffeman has an over active imagination

Thats some pretty good predictions feverish especially the part about lower hutt pissing everyone off.. Wests will  win, Mirimar and City Rovers will battle it out for 2nd and 3rd, Olympic will yet again win the best award for arguing amongst themselves and self destructing at halftime, Wellington United will somehow manage to scrap it out to keep off the bottom, Petone Dead last but only just as taranaki will be close behind, Stop out  will still be getting over death threats from Grant turner from last season to be any threatto other teams but will still win enough games to stay away from the bottom, Palmy will be so hot and cold im not even gonna try and guess where they will come... Lower Hutt 4th

Thats why I think Lower Hutt could be the dark horse cos I too rate their youngsters as well. Wests will still rely on its tried and experienced payers and some of the youngsters may get a run - West youngsters will consolidate on the form from Cap Prem last year.

Lets hope some of the teams are better bit more interesting as a player having tough games each week

It said gossip so I though I'd make some up. I just picked players most unlikely to leave a club and said they'd leave.
I can't see Petone coming last after thrashing 'Naki like they did in the play offs. I see them 6 or 7th based on the level last year. They're better that Stop Out, Wgtn Untd, 'Naki and Palmy and will push Lower Hutt and Olympic. I think Miramar and Wests will fight it out and it will depend on how their Chatham Cup runs effect the freshness come the end of the season.

Its no longer a problem.

All of Miramar's TW players are going to Olympic. All of Wests TW players are going to Wellington Utd. They like Newtown park that much.

Andy Le Prou is NOT "signed sealed delivered".  The story is he might go to Lower Hutt.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Are there any clubs left in Wellington that young Mr Rooker hasn't played for yet?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
