apparently 'mar seconds are lookinh quite strong for tomorrow. I think they have Marist. A few of the old boys like Batts are into it. Can someone please confirm the strenght of Thommos boys?

Marist are looking alright, can play brilliantly when the ball is kept on the deck. The Wellington contingent of the New Zealand Futsal team is all from Marist.

Small, bald Scottish guy in the middle of the park runs things for them.

Should be fairly strong.  Few first teamers coming in or coming back will be picking up game time.

Batts to boss the game.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Butterfield and Batty Might play if the do its all over after 5 min and goingto be a cricket score if not The Mar by 3,Jesse Kory-veryslow is playing there as well and Capstic and big Tom at the Back.plus the boys that won the Capital 1 last year.

Rumour is the Wharf have a new superstar midfield signing.

Someone impartial (not El Capitan) get there tomorrow and let me know how he goes.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Even with Butterfield and Batty in the midfield, Miramar stiffs will still miss the goal scoring exploits of the white elephant

Miramar 3 - Marist 2

Reasonable football played on a sh*t day, 3 defensive erros/blunders in the first 20 mins from Marist and clinical finishing gives Mirarmar a 3-0 lead, Marist fight back with a lot of possesion but Miramar play intelligently enough to hold on.

Good Round still tawa in the box seat. How was that game?

Tawa were lucky to get the three points to be honest, and their players would admit that.  Tawa scored in the first couple of minutes, with Wests equalising just before half-time.

Tawa's winner was a slightly controversial penalty given for a shove on Mike Ramaekers as he jumped for a far-post cross in injury time.  He got up, slotted the pen and that was full-time.  Quite literally the last kick of the game.

Wests deserved at least a point and maybe all three, but both teams had their chances.  As the game went on, Wests dominated more and more in the middle of the park with Neil MacDonald looking very good.

Tawa may have been hungover from their 4-1 win over 'Rapa, but at the end of the day, three points are theirs. Interesting to see 'Rapa bounce back with a 5-nil win yesterday....

Yeah the Curse of a second team in the Capital Premier.Hard to get going when your introducing the players to each other in the changing sheds.

Rapa are a good side and unless you have a game plan to beat them your screwed.

Coach said afterwards it was the best the team has ever played.

Well....it was from range....but seeing as the keeper dived over it i wouldnt say it was an absolute cracker (i feel i can make a reasonable judgement on this, seeing as i was the keeper who missed it).

Wharfies 2 Kapiti 1. Kapiti aint bad. I dont think they have any points, but i think they could take points of anyone in the league potentially. We were average -and will have to lift it when we play Fiji B for sure. Their changing rooms need a make-over

Are you saying they still have those same changing rooms from 1000 years ago? I'm thinking about heading up there next weekend for the Capital 3 game against their seconds. Always a tough choice and the news that the facilities are still out of yesteryear doesn't help. That away dressing room, what a shocker.

that last prediction...there is some real bad feeling now between the two clubs, that could see a few cards. IB to nick it though.

i was gonna throw in the speeches that it hasnt changed since Hearts days. It was used by two other teams and was full of water from the shower (just like Newtown Park used to do )

Was that flooding as bad as KP (the new version I mean) on a rainy day?
