Good thing the table isn't ordered by goals conceded - you'd be in a promotion/relegation playoff Yugo!

good luck petone, sure you will do it this year! shame neil barclay is unavailable for most of the playoffs he is the rock in defence, but there are good replacements i bet?
yeah well done lower hutt 2nds on a gd 1st year at that level, especially considering 6 different people donned the gloves as sandford broke his leg in game 1. i think this was the reason for conceding some large scores in 3 or 4 games, not having a gk week in week out. carny was gd in goal from what i saw, and then he got injured too.
so any good goalies out there available next year ring graham watson!!!

not a truer word spoken Easty.

the Cap Prem League will be like the EPL without the big 4. I'm gonna make a bold prediction..

Lower Hutt U19s - National Champions
Lower Hutt Reserves - Capital Premier 2008 Winners
Lower Hutt 1st Team - Central League/Chatham Cup double

and then we'll see where the real Yellow Fever is at! COME ON YOU YELLOW!

Bold isn't quite the word I'd use to describe those predictions Barber

Wairarapa connection to All Whites games
27.09.2007
BY GARY CAFFELL

Wairarapa United will be represented in both the Fiji and Vanuatu teams who take on the All Whites in World Cup qualifying soccer matches later in the year.

Current squad members Pita Rabo and Petero Dauniseka will be part of the Fiji line-up, along with Waisake Sabutu who will be joining up with Wairarapa United for the 2008 season.

And in the Vanuatu side will be another new signing in Soromon Seule.

The All Whites were originally scheduled to kick off their World Cup campaign against the South Pacific Games bronze medallists Vanuatu on October 13 before facing the same opponent in Wellington four days later.

But because Vanuatu's ground in Port Vila cannot be brought up to standard by then Soccer New Zealand has agreed to play the bronze medallists at the South Pacific games, Fiji, on that date with the return leg against the same opponent to be held in Fiji four days later.

The first of the two games against Vanuatu will now be played at Port Vila on November 17, followed by the second at Westpac Stadium in Wellington on November 22.

Sabutu, who is a midfielder, and Seule, whose prowess as a striker saw him win the Golden Boot award at the South Pacific Games, are expected to take up residence in the Wairarapa after their World Cup qualifying games.
