Fraser Park turf. Curtain raiser for the mighty Nighthawks game on straight afterwards.

Yeah going to be at the Hutt Derby also, didn't realise the Nighthawks where playing after. Might stay around for a laugh!

Battle of the Hutt for me. Can't pick it, could go either way.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Yeah we're at 5pm after a 3pm chatham cup game. Could be awkward if it goes to ET. Can see us starting late, then either overlapping with a 7pm game, or having the lights automatically turning off on us with 15 to go.

are you suggesting that we aren't in fact all finely tuned athletic machines?

Your referee would happily march onto the field and tell the other officials that their allocated match time is up and for them to remove the teams from the field.

And Patrick478 has confirmed there will be no lighting issues on Turf if later games delayed. Good Lad

Congratulations to selwyn today on qualifying for 2nd round of chatham cup for first time in their very short history. They beat a very aggressive Burwood 8-2. If this is the way they kick their way through lower leagues then good luck to them. The wind ruined the game but a ten minute spell in the first half when the wind stopped blowing saw class show through and selwyn scored 3 goals. This was a good all round team effort with goals shared between four players. Well done to Marty Taylor who had an eventful game. Gifting Burwood their leveller then surviving a disgraceful challenge to battle on a score his hat trick. Also a great effort by tech who showed their class when scoring a late equaliser with ten men then ending up winning in extra time.

Results I think I've got right:

Petone 2-2 Wharfies (Petone 5-4 on pens, Wharf missed their first and never recovered). One tweet suggested Wharfs goals were both Petone own goals?

Lower Hutt 1-0 Upper Hutt (Lower Hutt scored in the 91st minute of ordinary time).

Wellington Phoenix Childcare United 5-1 North Wellington Legal Services Inc

Rapa beat Miramar and Seatoun lost to Havelock North but not sure of scores.

That's all I've got.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Such a dire game. Upper Hutt probably the marginally the better side.

Second hand info:

Olympic 4-1 over Stokes Valley. 4 nil up at half then pedal off.

North End 4-1 over Brooklyn.

Vic Uni 2 nil after extra time over the Nui. Knew that would be a toughie for the students. I think Wainui mixed a peno too.

Good efforts by the 3 Capital 2 sides in the Cup, Stokes Valley, Naenae and Wainui, all good efforts, watched the Wairarapa v Miramar game, (happy to pay to enter ground) Good game to watch end to end stuff, Wai up 2 nil then Mir scored, then hit cross with  Wai keeper well beaten, then they hit post which I think Wai keeper got finger tips to before Wai scored third in added on time.
