If Central win their Semi then the Final will be at Kiwitea street. It'll just be way too easy and convenient for NZF to say no to.

When Central Won the Cup in 2012, the final was held at Newtown Park. NZF have said no to the convenience of Kiwitea before.

Two Auckland teams in the women's final. If one Auckland team make the CC final, it will be at NHS.

NZF gone away from the traditional shafting of Auckland teams I see.

Any predictions on the semi-final scores out there...

was that draw done yesterday? Cause when talking about cashmeres road to the semi, they go on to say clapham score yesterday. Which is a Monday. Sounds dodgy to me.

Would have recorded it for youtube yesterday and posted today.

Yeah. Some games he makes the ASB look easy too. Still young-ish. Makes one wonder just where his level could be.

He could play A-League. Without a doubt.

Three for me, and two for them.

I agree, but am reluctant to say because I'm a bit biased. Hard for someone like him to crack the HAL though. Not a lot on his CV for an import spot

Fuck this stupid game

He must've come a long way since his days in Capital Prem. He was ok back then, nothing overly special though. Admittedly I haven't seen him play since moving up north

Nothing special? He scored 38 goals in his last.season for WU in Cap Prem. Admittedly he has improved since then, particularly his work rate and pace.

At the time we needed a midfielder of his mould and we had room for an import. Right now we have a bunch of strikers who are unlikely  to blow the A-League away and no import spots left. Other A-League clubs aren't going to turn to the ASBP for an import either.

How old is he (approx)?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

May be some ACFC highlights on Youtube featuring Tade. How come you haven't seen him in person?

Wasnt suggesting they sign him just that a CV doesnt mean a great deal as many clubs have found out to their peril!!

Who are George and Cleberson playing for these days......

Yeah I don't disagree with that. Manny Muscat and Albert Riera both have a similar story. Sigmund too

I think Tade is better than Krishna. I think he has upped his work rate a lot in the last year too.

I think if we were to sign him, I would like to see him gain 5kg in upper body. He is slight but HAL defenders are brutal. He is not so slight as to avoid the contact ala Marco...

Anyone know how long Tade has been in NZ for? Could help with A-League selection ..

Agreed about the pen!

But 1-0 a fairer scoreline??

Napier had 1 chance and Central hit bar twice and missed plenty of other chances

Great blog as always though

Cashmere did it easily over Onehunga at a canter and that was not a surprise. Onehunga are probably a bit high in the table and cup. They lack another striker and a couple of the Asian boys are a bit out of the depth. The penalty given against them was out and out farcical. Even Collett got up and was celebrating unbelievably that he got it.

While Central didn't exactly do it at a canter, they were the better side and deserved their win so I don't think NCR have much to whinge about if they were really honest with themselves. The penalty looked suspect but in the last 10 mins, NCR were watching the passes go past them cause the pace of the game was too much for them and they ran out of gas. I thought their number 18 was lucky not to get a second yellow. Considering the amount of 'no names' on the pitch for Central, they played some really really good football and made NCR look pretty ordinary at times. Most ASBP watchers would only recognise Iwata and Vicelich with the rest just young kids so was not exactly a stacked side either.

And they did it without Tade.

18 being Kilkolly I think, I thought his first yellow was harsh and can't remember any fouls after that? Not a lot has been said about the second goal but it looked like a blatant hand ball in the lead up.

It's understandable that Central ran over napier in the final 10 minutes as rovers were 2 nil down and had the ref against them, they obviously feel they had been up against it.

The first tackle where the guy got sent 3 feet into the air and landed horizontally? Ok... The 18 continued on and put in a tackle after the big hoo ha around the 'offside' where two NCR players were both offside and they whinged about it. It happened right in front of us in the stand. The 18 continued and poleaxed a Central player. Think it was Ivan. Nothing wrong with the second goal but judging by this post, I have to ask if you are Greatholder or Robertson cause those were the only two complaining about it. The guy chested it down for the other boy to slot it.

I'm not a Central supporter (and a few will back me up) but they were the better side and deserved their win. If you guys had won it, you would be talking about how you pinched a result. I think Oliver Sail had to make 1 save all game. Your keeper (and it was not Gillespie or Nathu so have not seen him before. Is he the 3rd choice?) had to make about 10 from memory of which he was clearly MOM cause he made some bloody outstanding saves. I think you may have the taste of bitter grapes in your mouth there.

Based on watching both semis, the right two teams are in the final.

Heard the mum of one of the NCR players had a go at who she thought was the ref in the clubrooms. Turned out not to be him.

I think NCR aren't actually bemoaning being beat, it's how they have been beat. They will be first to tell you that Central were the better team but it's the fact that both goals, especially the first which was never a penalty, were dubious decisions. Without those 2 goals going in they could've realistically been battered for 89 minutes and held out....then sneak in a winner in the 90th.

It'd be interesting what others made of the first goal who were there, did you think it was a pen JV?
