The crowd behind the goals during pens is new levels of amateurism

Poor game management by Easts but when your home ground is a paddock not surprising. Apt name Madills Farm, Can remember cricket balls coming onto the field during National League games

Both finals will be played on Sunday 7 September at North Harbour Stadium. The Delivereasy Chatham Cup final between Auckland United and Wellington Olympic kicks off at 1pm, followed by the Delivereasy Kate Sheppard Cup final between Auckland United and Wellington Phoenix Reserves at 4pm.

Tickets will be on Ticketek, but aren’t up yet as far as I can tell.

Legit some of those kids were so close behind the goal I thought they might get hit by the ball

Didn't take long for Olympic to open the scoring

Greeks up 2-1 at halftime, it’s been a “physical” game to put it mildly. Good noisy crowd of Olympic supporters sitting just down from us half dozen-odd Phoenix supporters, although United have a young drum squad going who can’t resist a cheeky “we can’t hear you”. Good times at North Harbour!

Congrats Wellington Olympic - a well deserved victory.

Was an entertaining game as well which isn't always true of Finals.

First back to back winners since Cashmere Technical in 2014

Olympic comfortable winners in the end
Prins got MOM which was fair enough but I thought Watson was hugely influential. Was his usual aggravating self and got into the heads of Auckland United. He used to do the same to Auckland City. Two goals as well
Crowd was poor .What was interesting to me was that a number of Auckland United supporters left after the mens game and were replaced by a fresh bunch for the womens game,

Cue the usual "why aren't the Nix all over Isa Prins" comments.

I think it is a fair criticism, we need a LB and the kid looks pretty talented. Get him in for a trial and see how he goes.

A Piss poor crowd from what I saw of the goal on here. Brilliant TV coverage, including the "Live" version not on any of the major TV Stations.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

It felt bigger (or at least sounded noisier) from in the stands, but yeah looking at it from the other side of the ground on the replay our national cup finals deserved more support.

And that’s without grumbling about how many people didn’t stay for the KSC, although to be fair to the Olympic fans they probably had planes to catch and North Harbour is a long way from the airport.

Also didn't help that the game was on the weekend of the All Blacks vs SA which made the flights extortionate. A number couldn't afford to get up there for the day and staying the night before was a no go with the accommodation rates. Would have been interesting to see what sort of crowd would have showed up if it was hosted in Wellington. Do we know the official crowd attendance?
