Yeeeyaa, great draw for us and at home. Quality.

Now make a BIG DAY of it. Get it in the papers, on the radio.. aim for a BIG crowd!!!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

The first step will be getting it drawn so it's not up against anything...and hopefully at Newtown Park.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Why ever not? Guy from the club was on the radio proudly saying they are the largest sports club in NZ.

Is it because Aucklanders have a reputation of not turning up when their team is going to lose?

Aye, Tigers, agree entirely - Three Kings v. Manurewa! :-))

Well, no-one else has said it!

I'm disappointed I won't be able to see the entire TKU v. Miramar match. Had it been on a Saturday, no problem, but the football schedule on 30 August, in order of priority (and, as it happens, kick-off times), reads:
0200  Bolton Wanderers v. LFC
1300  Lynn-Avon United v. Upper Hutt City
Part of the second half of Three Kings United v. Miramar Rangers
1900  Sydney FC v. Wellington Phoenix

A busy night's writing in store that night, methinks!

Cheers,

JR

I'll probably go along to the game. To support the 'Mar, obviously.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Should be a good game that one.

I play for the club as well mate, the club isnt promoted very well in general. The away team might be shocked by how crap the clubrooms are too LOL No need to diss aucklanders mate, i cant speak for the rest but i'll be there with my team

no one (i know) thinks they will be a push over(especially at home), we just think that the mar are a quality side who just spanked one of aucklands best teams.

its the cup and anything can happen, especially with the mar having to travel.
all that being said if the TAB bring out odds for this round, the mar will be favs

Better be an Olympic v Miramar final, I really dont want to travel up to Aucks, rather it be here in Wellington. Would be at Newtown wouldnt it or nah? Surely televised? Such a long time to wait

I'd say almost certainly not televised unless it's played as a curtain raiser to Phoenix.

The cost of televising it is probably a bridge too far for NZF, understandably.

I also wouldn't rule out an all Wellington final being played at North Harbour Stadium.  Don't forget NZF probably have certain contractual obligations to NHS.  They may not have any room to move, especially after whipping the All Whites game away from there.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

I heard someone from nzf saying they would look at moving it if it was 2 team from outside aucks

Now I think about it, I'm pretty sure it was up until a couple of years ago.  That Easts vs Wests game was in 2006.

In my view there must be. Else, I believe, it's like saying that a Chatham Cup semi-final is NOT worth paying to see.

That lasted for a few years but certainly hasn't happened the last year or two.

If it was to be played at Newtown Park I can't imagine them running a full outside broadcast from there when everyone interested is likely to be there watching anyway.

Ye I agree.. a fees good.
The paper said this morning apparently that if two Wellington teams make the final then it will likely be in Wellington.
Pretty ridiculous that the biggest game in NZ football domestically is not televised.
Lets hope.

just to help you all out, last years was not on telly nor was the year befor, 2006 was tho.

if it is a final with 2 welly tams it WILL be in wellington. not only will it be a better spectical it will cost NZF less, as they have $ obligations to help the finalists. Why would NZF fork out 10 to 15k to fly 2 welly teams to auck when they could just pay 1k to fly their representitives down for the game.

hope this helps you all!

dont want anyone to get ahead of them self's tho, could be 2 auck teams in the final or 1 of each!

The Three Kings v Miramar game on Sunday at 2pm will be $5 entry fee with kids U16 free.  The club are making a real effort to promote the game.  The first team lads will be at all the junior football over the next 4 weeks, their are ad's going out into the papers, promo's on web forums and hopefully AFF will get behind it.  It would be great if Miramar had a few fans there that travel up too.

To clarify Ben Hunt does not play for Three Kings he is Eastern Suburbs.
