Was thinking about some of the posts on here and how some people maintain anonominity don't say who they are/where they are from, while others championn their clubs.

I think YF has been great for banter and making links across regional and communtiy football so what about a club/team register- i reckon the best place would be on the profiles- a kind of a snapshot of a persons history, totally voluntary, and would help make links-kinda like an "Old Friends" for football.

Feverish/News/Smithy et al- do you like this idea or is it pants?

Ill start off with my own intriguing and riveting football history, but like i said probably belongs better on profile so that it doesn't clog up the forum:

SALMON 07's Football Career at a glance

Juniors:
Sunset Junior AFC (Rotorua)
Rotorua Reperesentative (u13/u15) -1989-1990
Ngongotaha AFC
Rotorua Boys High School 1st XI

Seniors:
Easton Cowboys FC (Bristol)- 1999-2000
Sunday Blazers (Wgtn Sunday League) 2004-2008
Wgtn United Salmon-2001-present
Cameos for WU Arms, Elite, Terrace,Masters, Legends, Ressies

Whats your story?

What department at Lytton? Enjoyed my time there, particularly the football side. We went from the bottom of the country when I was year 9 to qualifying for nationals in 2006.

It is interesting to see that everyone has only really played club football. When I joined my first club I would have been 18/19. In South Africa it is a bit different with schools only playing schools and after school on a Wednesday arvo, allowing kids to play club football on Saturday if they wished.

That's how it works in Gisborne. I played for an age group team Saturday mornings, club team Saturday afternoon and School team on Wednesday afternoon. I trained every other day of the week as well.
