Anyone else think it's strange that futsal is on tv and NZFC is not? Not knocking it, but wtf?

Futsal has a little bit of intrigue and the unknown, whereas NZFC is sh*t and noone would watch - just guess here of course

Camera crew in one venue for all matches over short period of time means it is probably a hell of a lot cheaper.

Camera company owned by Mainland's Futsal officer so probably cheaper too.

Correct. But ASB putting more money into ASB Premiership.
Futsal boys paying their own way to tournaments, can't see Premiership players doing that.

Again needs the NZF to get their act together and make the ASB Premiership a comp to be at the top of TV media budgets.
Look at the amount of local motorsport on all channels for about the same number of viewers and spectators. Motorsport of the roundy roundy dtuff is boring unless you watch the BMW series.

Think it is one tournament a month so will def be a repeat. It was good in the fact that we get to see a football related sport on the telly, bad in the fact it isn't the NZFC.

Not bad to watch but some awful keepers outside of the top 3 teams.

One problem noted was commentator didn't know the correct player names of
Mainland team players and on two occasions the scorer of a goal was given the wrong player name.
