Island Bay Masters "The Originals" pre season Kickabouts Wakefield Park 2pm Saturdays all welcome especially if you are over 35 and are still breathing !

Perhaps as it's an afternoon during the summer, they'd be a team full of pommes frites?

Good turn out today cheers to everyone who turned up  ,will be doing the same again next week and every Saturday until the season starts !

We are really looking for a decent keeper (any nationality ) gloves provided !(might even throw in a decent defence )

Indeed the english flow into this area...Humber, Mersey, Ouse (making that one up) Street etc

Good friendly last weekend despite getting gubbed 7-4 by Ricky and the youngsters from div something or other !
 
Cheers to the other Island Bay Masters team players for turning up last Saturday , more masters warm up football this weekend 2pm Wakefield ,all welcome but older players encouraged 35+ ,secure wheel chair parking next to the bogs !
C'mon escape domestic bliss for a couple of hours and be fifteen again !

We are still looking for a goalie ,if you are over 35 and like latex (ooh er missus ) we have just the position for you !
We have a game tomorrow at Te Whaea 3.30pm  gloves provided  and minimum abuse !

Another trial  game lined up this weekend at Te Whaea 9am ko ,especially keen on a any crusty old goalies that want to come out of retirment,  who are over thirty five ,still have all their  limbs intact and who's vision extends at least as far as the six yard box !!
