anyone else been finding that the WCC hasn't always been unlocking changing rooms this year? I have been put out a few times (including ben Burn on the weekend, Karori Pk, and Alex Moore), and one my my teams had the problem at Happy Valley.

Only issue we have had is when there was a Prems rugby game at Kelburn before our game. they decided it was there right to lock the changing rooms so we had to change with the opposition in our clubrooms. No-one seemed interested when we tried to find out who had the key, even offering the usual football is for f*****s taunt.

Pretty average of the Council though (or their weekend staff)

We got locked out of Happy Valley last year. Also the ref was bought on that occasion, but that's another story!!!  newzealandpower2010-08-09 15:07:58

never had any issues with changing sheds, most annoying thing this season has been the lack of bar facilities at our home ground. 12:30 game finishes up at 2:30, we head back to the bar and there is noone around to open it up.....the fact that it's not already open is annoying....

Melrose Park was closed on Saturday, and we had a team scheduled at 12:30.  Quick call to the council and they sent a Ranger up to sort it out.   However, commnet from the Council was that there was no bookinmg for the park on that day, hence it wasn't opened.

No booking?  It's one football field for goodness sakes, What else gets booked there.....surely not every field needs to be booked every weekend?

Nairn St changing rooms are looking very pretty again after getting arsoned. Twilighters will be pleased as well as the ball boys who had to trudge about in the new outdoor toilets last summer.

Join your committe and you might be able to open it...or give then a hand in getting it open...but then like most clubs now it is easier if someone else does it....

If I ran you over then 4 teams would disappear from football. Why do you think it has an 'e' on the end?

The makeover is more like a combover.

it was on the paper the other day! apparently "we" stuffed up and Ma(r)joribanks lost an R whilst Nairn(e) lost the E at the end. Hence the name of both street are slightly incorrect! anyway, yeah good to know that as long as I keep on playing I won't be ran over by a 4 by 4.. it makes me sleep well at night!

Carry a large crowbar in your kit bag and locked changing rooms will never be a problem

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Look, I've solved the problem of the locked changing rooms. I can't be expected to think of everything

Sponging is more economical. Check that with KCU.
