Allwhites82, can you confirm if Rangers AFC aren’t eligible for the MPL play offs because they didn’t register their interest before the start of the season with Nelson Bays Football??

I have to congratulate the referee into Mid Canty v Waimak game. Let it flow where possible but pulled up the bad tackles. Also communicated really well with the players.

Good to see positive comments about the refs. It does help when the ref understands the game and has played.

Looks like FC Twenty11 3rd (updated table on Mainland). And a draw change as Burwood are now playing FC Twenty this weekend (previously it was Waimak). I think the Last 3 games draw started 1 v 4, 2 v 3.

Congratulations to Halswell on winning the league. They won the big games when it counted so are deserved champions. The league this year has had far more integrity and every point was well and truly earned. Good luck to all in the final 2 rounds.

14 Sep 05:38

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused but the winner of the Nelson Bays Div 1 title still to be confirmed with Rangers AFC - Blenheim currently 4 points clear of FC Nelson with 2 rounds to play.

Also in the Nelson Bays Div 1 Rangers defeated Nelson College 3 - 0 so are confirmed as champions but are not seeking promotion so no play-off needed with Halswell being promoted into the New World Men's Premier League for 2021

Hopefully all the teams have sorted their U20 and Foreigner quotas out. Will be interesting to see how some clubs go with their younger players.

It is interesting that the rules around this are slightly different to the MPL as when the changes happen later in the season MPL and CCL clubs could be playing to different rules but against each other!

a bit unfair given the score. Strange game 1 red and a very lucky player not to get a red earlier after breaking a players leg in a 'tackle'
