Yet another year of big talk but bridesmaids for Halswell! Watched game today v Selwyn, poor watch all round. Big result for Western, good to see as the club has many good people involved

I'm not particularly familiar with the Chirstchurch football scene, but from what I've gathered since learning of them last year Halswell don't exactly seem popular in the garden city lol

Not sure how promotion works this year, but must put Halswell one point off locking in at least a playoff spot.

Yes, I believe that is the case! I still struggle to understand that if you're not good enough to finish top in a league with SL u20 sides, how you're able to get the chance to qualify for SL
