If Karori can have one then why not the Rangers? And seeing as they are the best club in Wgtn at the moment surely they deserve one... Sooo... How bout those new strikers??

Is it just me or is everyone associated with the club who posts on here struggling to get a game a the Mar.
Could be the common thread?
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Right A-team had 6 posts this week, he can go on the bench. Roy had 10... reserves. Pride of London ?

Miramar do not deserve their own thread. They are not big club enough (like Wharfies).
And Keano is past it.

G Little has a vision to win it all and has put together a squad to do that.
They are only going to get much better and I think will go through without a loss this year.
With Mike E and Jamie F still to come it is a very good squad. They have depth down to player 24 now.

If the mar r to go through the season without a loss they need to address their shocking record against wests over the last 5 years, despite this it should be a good match-up on sat

2003
Wests 3-1 Mar (Chatham Cup)
2004
Wests 1-3 Mar (Champs Prem)

Geez Wests are so frustrating to watch - seem to have the players on paper but cant gel as a team. Wests passing was shocking at times - quality was not there when it counted. Generally they are a team pretty to watch with there movement of the ball but that deserted them today. Having said that, the Mar were very well organised in defence and cut out Wests passing at crucial times, the right back was also giving Daniel Elleson a bit of heave ho (great to watch - especially standing over Elleson and shouting "get up" when tackling him in the box)...Rowe and Brockie created havoc for Wests back four but in all quite a scrappy game.

I agree. I have seen Wests play so much better, they were a more complete side last year. Passing was very often very poor, but it was quite windy to be fair. Jeez , I didnt even realise that was Daniel Ellensohn, Im not a fan of his. I thought it was youngster up from the seconds. He really should have scored, but then again so should have Miramar, who were thwarted by the excellent Imray several times.
Has Sam Peters been on a diet?

The other person I noticed for the 1st time was Sam Jenkins from HB - methinks he was no.7 in the orange boots. If so, he seemed to be in and out of the game - thats probably why I did not notice him at first ....still can remember a few games back at Newtown Park playing for HB in the NZFC and man can he shoot!
Wonder if he can bring the same form to Wests....
Sorry could not recognise too many players for MAR apart from Eager, Brocks, Rowe and was that Chote playing wing? Not sure if Wiramu was playing either....Is that goalie the same from TW Youth? How would it have felt for "G" being on the sideline?

They do appear to need a keeper with deputy Dilbert broken and with so much of the U-20 and U-23 squad heading here it wouldn't suprise me to see Roly end up here.
Wonder if he'd like a game for Naenae masters this week ?
