its rather clowny in appearance. ok to find things cos of all the pretty colours, just doesn't look very official.

Is it just me or are the margins to wide for the header and right hand column?

The logos on the right are all fuzzy and bad quality as well...

Other than that, it looks OK

Oh, and Javascript errors on the front page

that's a real shame its gone. The football family all benefit from cross-promotion of sites and organisations. CF website a great source of potential fever members and YF site a spot to discuss and banter about the various CF leagues and competitions. Makes sense for both parties.

surely they could nt have any objection to a reciprocal link arrangement?

I've emailed someone called Steve Stevens with that view he  - he thought thep oint was reasonable and is going to pass it on to Keith Palmer, whose call it apparently is,

agree with Marius, the more the football community acts together the more influential we become for the good of the game

I like the new site. Easy to navigate and some nice new features.

A dog with a bone :)

Not really a fan of their new logo and all the colours - would much prefer the simple and tasteful yellow and black as before.

Can't find a links button that takes me to a page that lists all the wellington club sites and others from around NZ. Used to be one on the old site.

Like the change from Capital Soccer to Capital Football but the new logo is a bit camp. Don't know where they got the green, red and blue from. Keep it black and yellow.

The colours represent the old colours of the Associations.  Blue = Mana.  Green = Wairarapa + Hutt.  Red = Horowhenua.  Wellington obviously was always Black/Yellow.

I quite like the logo but I loathe the horrid script font they've picked for Capital.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Our link has gone

Personally, I think YF has done a lot of help grow and promote football in Wellington...

Not sure why they dropped the link - but I think it is a bad call.

The YF site is the best source of news and views of the local game - therefore promoting football interest and banter. Surely those are outcomes that are high on Cap Footys list of goals?

They would actually learn things about what is going on locally is looked at the forum occasionally.

We will also be providing weekly Central Lge reports again this year, something that was more in depth than any other source (ie the paper) last year.

As to any possible damage to the game due to actions of YFers - well if TAB etc are willing to get behind it..

It's probably just an oversight. And anyway it's a two way street isn't it? The Capital Football link on YF isn't exactly obvious or given any special promotion - it's buried in the links page below Soccer Otago ffs!

Totally agree with the point about the various football sites in Wellington promoting each other but you can't have your cake and eat it. See what CF come back with but in the meantime get the CF link up on the home page of YF if you are serious about promoting football in Wellington.

I like the new CF site by the way. Still quite a few bugs but way better than the old site which was a mess.

Awesome! If I scroll to the bottom of the page and squint I can just about make it out.

How about giving it a bit more prominence if you are really "doing it for the kids"?

Mainly because it woul take code changes and our IT team have jobs.

It's on the list for part of a new re-design, but it takes time and effort which has to fit around employment (and football).

You were the one who went off on a ramble about how much YF was doing for the football community (and all because CF don't have a YF link on their site - yet).

Don't get me wrong  - I agree with you. The Phoenix effect and Yellow Fever are no doubt great for Capital Football. I'm just saying that everyone could do a lot more to promote each other and make those links more obvious (including the Phoenix themselves and Team Wellington - who don't link to YF either).

First you say it's a two-way street, and then you bag us for putting a link on.

Nice one.

we have asked them - and they have not asked us for a link - so dont know if they even want one.

Anyway, nice to see their site spruced up. Looks nice. Needs more grass.

Jeepers, is everyone at YF having their period today?

I am only messing with you and it was very nice of you to put the link up so quickly.

Group hug.
