Waterside beat Lower Hutt 1-0 KCU beat Petone 4-1

Realised this means Waterside wins it with 12 points and all other teams still have a game in hand. Lower Hutt on 9pts plays KCU on 6pts for second place Petone plays Upper Hutt for pride and not to be last.

Coastal 6  SBHS 0

FC2011 1, Parklands 0

CTFC 2,  Halswell 1.

Coastal 3, Waimak 0.

CTFC 1, Parklands 0.

So Cash and FC on 15, Coastal and Parklands on 12.

CTFC win on goal difference. Had to win against Parklands , 2 mins to  go Tom Corlet scored

Well done to the side.

Congratulations. Must have been rather nail-biting coming down to the last few minutes with the FC boys cheering loudly for Parklands to upset.. haha. All the best for the next stage.

Kudos to the kid who played in bare feet.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Could be Waimak as well....

Crikey, every year a shambles

Could be some interesting permutations if all matches involving teams losing by default because of ineligible players are set to a 3-0. FC may well have a strong case for protest especially having played 3 matches on day one when none/little of this was known.

As you say Foal, shambles again.

Apparently everyone there knew, except me. Only found out late Saturday by which time we had played the 4 'toughest' matches.

Regardless, I feel the best side won the comp, but there probably is sweet FA between FC and CTFC.

And again congragulations to the very  young Waimak

Kept going the whole weekend

A couple of them where literally half the size of other players and still got stuck in.

thanks Foal really proud of the attitude of the whole side thrown together 2 weeks out and desperate for numbers. Report been written and forwarded to board to stop this happening again. The 3 12 year olds really gave it a crack against your lot and will be better for it. They need to go away and remember the speed, accuracy and what not to do. Big change as they were not used to losing much prior to this.

Thanks to opposition coaches who gave positive words to the boys after most games.

No bigger learning curve than the one we just had as a club and team.

Congrats to CTFC as well.

Jesus wept! So much for Okker football superiority!

NB: Two to Max Mata, one to Charles Spragg.
