Birko used 22 players against Shore though. They used 16 yesterday. It was a better reflection of what the actual first team will look like this season and the performance justified that.
And yeah you were right, that Oratia tournament is mickey mouse, and so was our performance on Fri nite

I watched them play north shore they had johnfletcher, arnie p from albany..wasi,keegan.sheldon.waitakere city, ash crawford us college i think. callum kiddell t.k.u alex.risdale central. plus there usual players hobson,salta.lawson.parkinson..
very good on paper but north shore played as well but according to buff were way better than t.k.u..
i watch most north shore teams Birko play the best football,but E.C.B still the most complete and better organized team, not sure if hes a an n.z.f.c club but a real talent
still think ellerslie are the favs to win it!

Watched game today bit of feeling out there! Pretty even game on a small bumpy pich.. Thought Birko played the better football , whilst bays just sat in and broke..
1-0 to bays great goal jeff cambell with 10 to go..
Birkenhead lost wasi in warm up and pillay/hobson after 10....
Both teams look pretty fit!
I think bays will be in the top 3 this season.. some good keepers on display from both teams..

Happy to see people seem to picking MAP to stay up.
As for the women's game, interesting to see a 9-team prem this year, with Fencies and Western Springs fielding teams. I live quite near Seddon Field so I might go down the hill to support them when my team aren't playing.
(I just realised that I play at the third-highest club level in the Northern region now. I'm so high I'm getting a nosebleed.)
