Well i just had to do it...
August the 18th (or19th) is creaping ever closer and the clash
of the city rivals is being well expected to be a cracker!!
Miramar Sit third on the CL table with a game in hand and one
point behind the leaders OLYMPIC!!!
A win here for the big O will secure a second spot finish
ahead of Miramar.
Game of the Season will be at Centenial and i do expect a big
crowd.
One big change to the O squad that was not present during the
other 2 encounters is we have chainsaw back and hes raring to
go!!!!
SO!!! Olympic are walking out of Centenial with the second
spot secure leaving miramar behind with their heads betwn their
legs...

Rangers have a fired up Peter H playing for the first time as well.

uncle steven u have forgttn that Olympic's main man raf de gregorio has missed boths games this year too him and barry are both looking forward to this battle and i know for a fact that the boys are fired up for this one.
also like to mention that raf is now 2nd top goalscr not bad for a midfielder!
miramar better be on there game because we are definitely up for it this week!
plus if we do win we secure 2nd in the league but there is stil a slight chance that we can stil take out the league with lower hutt city playing wests this week. n hpfully stopout or taranaki can get a draw out of them OLYMPIC wil be crowned Champions!! poll is pointing significantly towards Rangers.
Well, to be honest Miramar are the clear favourites to win this
game, I mean all their strikers have been busy scoring lots of
goals lately....so it should really be a tough test for the
"Olympic boys". On the other hand our boys have been scoring as
well, not just the strikers but also the midfielders as well as our
full backs, so it will also be quite hard for the Miramar defence
to try and keep up....On paper Miramar is a lot stronger but on the
day you never know, there is nothing better than the underdog
getting up smaking a couple of goals early and upsetting the
"polls" It should be a decent game, both teams have a point to
prove..... Our boys are definately up to the challenge and after
the excelent result up in Gizy they would love to finish the season
on a high note.....Let's hope that the "officials" keep up with the
play and don't "hijack" the game.

I think its going to be a close game and olympic going the victors
probably 2-1.
Hopfully the crowds a bit bigger than last time.
Well I think the O show has seen it day. Miramar
should have a huge home advantage.
It could be a good day for the Miramar club - 2nd team win the
league, first team go top of the table after beating its biggest
rivals.

Getting close to kick-off lads. Nerves are building.
My predicition is that Miramar will openin the scoring in the
20th minute when Dominic Rowe gets put through one on one, and
slots past Toomath. Just before half time, the big O's will
equalise when a cross from Chas Lawrence is not cleared by the
Rangers defenders and De Gregorio slots home from just inside the
box.
The second half starts with the big O's pressing but unable to
score, and against the run of play Butterfield lashes one home from
25 yards. Rangers take control of the game now, and
Butterfield gets his second 10 minutes from time. In the last
minute, Barry Lewis gets send off throwing the linesman over the
fence when he gives a throw in to Rangers.
Haha. Nah i say Olympic 1-0 up the whole game but in last 3 minutes
Miramar equalise. Man of match for Olympic: Barry Lewis. Too much
expectation on Raf. Miramar: Keeper. Who will start Nathu or Hall?
There keeper will be because Olympic will dominate this match. Key
reason why: Greek support willl be off the heezy.

Prediction: It will finish 0-0. More so, it will turn into
the most tedious game seen in Central League this season apart from
that other one at Newtown Park that featured one of these
teams....
The highpoint will be someone stealing the

Since Stop Out aren't playing I guess I'd better go

played for Olympic (lower level) many years ago. Then again, my
first NZ football memory is seeing Miramar win the Chatham Cup in
1966.

Olympic player got ALL BALL and the Miramar player (i think dom
rowe) thatrically dove.

Why did the greek flags come down before the end of the game,
olympic's keeper made some great saves which made up for that
shocking attempt which lead to the first goal, very entertaining
match, dom rowe should have started, wests will win unless stop out
and the naki get up

And please tell me again about how your supporters are the
best.Half of them left before the game was finished.What sort of
support is that walking out on their team when its not going your
