In the past, they've had a Capital One draw for the whole season, but haven't seen one this year.

your club chairperson gets the draw 2 weeks in advance, generally Sunday night it goes out for the weekend after next

correct, 2 weeks in advance is about the best you will get.

If one can tell Capital Soccer what grounds they have on a given date they will be able to do a draw for the year, I hear they have lost 6 grounds for the first week of the season.

The admin team at Capital Football have to work closely with the Councils re availability of grounds and any issues resulting from higher leagues needs. Two weeks horizon is fine for most purposes. Publishing a fictional draw for the year which then needed to change all the time would not be sensible.

surely they must have a schedule of who is playing who on wat wknds, not so concerned about at what time and exact ground, just want to know when we have an away game and a home game etc.

...but that is exactly the point.  You get ready for a home game, the council closes your home ground and all of a sudden you are away.

its annoying but its unlikely to change when footy is so heavily governed by what the weather is doing.....I'm sure capital football knows who is playing who, but there is no point in publishing it in advance cos the grounds may change....

Queenslander 3x a year.

i totally agree with you, but just knowing when you have a hm game or away game can make a big difference to some peoples lives (eg working on a sat). dnt need to know ground and times.
a schedule should be made avail to those who want it, maybe just with the hm team named first but no mention of grounds and times.
