Because it was stupid. The last thing we need is antagonism with Red badge. Part of the Fever's appeal is that we don't think 'the man' is out to get us unlike supporters of some other sides.

Part of the Fever's appeal is that we don't think 'the man' is out to get us
It is only the rugby union, Dom Post (who are in cahoots with the rugby union), Brendan Telfer, the $2 shop, Sky Television, the Vatican, the Gettys, the Rothschilds, Bin Hamman and Colonel Saunders who are against us.
I hate the colonel with his wee beady little eyes and that smug look on his face "oohhh, you're going to buy my chicken". Well they put an addictive chemical in it that makes people crave it fortnightly.
