That second goal by Leckie was class, he really has rediscovered his form. He was really underwhelming to start with but is firing on all cylinders right now

Looking at the table, it's not all doom and gloom. We're 1 win from 4th place. The guys really need to turn it around.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Not an easy run in to the finals for Sydney: four games left and only Roar you could call an easy one, and they've got the whole ACL thing to distract them.

Mariners are a definite threat to leapfrog us . Makes our home game against them a real six pointer. Perfect opportunity for a noisy home crowd to gee the boys up.

Somehow I can't see Adelaide falling over from here but Macarthur, who knows, they are all over the shop this season. In any case a big game Friday night between these two.

Given the remaining fixtures it's not entirely out of the question that 37 points might be enough for us. That's 3 wins and a draw. Plus a fair dollop of luck.

Quite odd that Dehmie is starting ahead of Lescano and Ivanovic. Kid doesn't look like he will score in a million years.

Aldred gets his marching orders. Looks all over for Roar now.

Gut feeling is that they have given up on the season, so trying to invest in the future by backing him. In the QLD NPL the kid scores for fun, I just don't see it at this level tho.

Ha! That's utter madness from Margush. Appalling camera work to cut away from it just as it was occurring.

Roar deserved that. It's not a great game but they've had some good moments.

He knew he was in trouble, why not just kick it out for the corner? Utter madness

It's up there with Janjetovic vs the Roar a few seasons ago.

Oh yes the Janjetovic was a real doozy. Was Roar that day too.

....which, sorry, you have just pointed out!

Yes apparently starred in this game. Hay (who sees him as a midfielder) will be thinking long & hard.

Poppa in the post match, saying it's been a steady process to get Rojas's body fit & strong again, but he's there now.

Gorman hugely lucky to avoid a red card for his monster tackle on Penha. I'm going to say if he's not on starting debut he's gone straight away but the ref has given the youngster the benefit of the doubt.

Guessing the fact his studs were down is what saved him. He is a very lucky boy.

These last few matches could get ugly for Perth. Keeping an eye on this game for the Nix game on Wednesday.

Penha, who I think has got to be one of the best imports this season makes it 4-0 Jets. 40 minutes to go too.

4-0 Penha another. I will be staggeringly disappointed if we can't knock off Glory on Wednesday. But hey with the Nix anything is possible....
