Media are invited to capture the red carpet from 7pm then take live audio and video feeds from 7:30pm according to the event listing on lookforward.com.au.

So there must be something out there.

No live coverage, check the web.

In saying that, the cricketers' award (The Allan Border Medal) is on Fox Sports.

We televise over here the AFL, NRL and cricket awards, but soccer has no live TV coverage yet.

4-4-2 website as someone has said.

NOTE: My mate was at the press conference today in Sydney and advised that Phoenix officials are walking around VERY confident about Sunday's game and that Victor Sikora is 1 week away from returning for Perth.

Permalink Permalink

Jobe Wheelhouse v GCU (I think) will be another nominee for GOTY and will probably win it.

Anyone got the full list of nominations??

Yeah, that Wheelhouse goal was a ripper, though that 3-3 Melbourne vs Brisbane draw had some crackers, Tiatto's springs to mind.

Is there Foreign Player of the Year? If so Ifil has to be the front runner.

Three for me, and two for them.

Coach of the Year: Herbert.
Player: Ifill.
Foreigner: Ifill.
GOTY: Barb's flick on to Greenacre or Dadi's.
Fans: YF.

Hernandez, hard to see anyone going past those 2 for that or player of the year. I suggested Colosimo perhaps last night but those wiser than I suggest defenders never win anything.

Leckie for rookie of the year? Or Oar?

Leckie has been superb. Him and Galekovic have carried that Adelaide team (not very far admittedly )

Three for me, and two for them.

can anyone update us on the results? I'm reading a book on the couch but would be keen on finding out who won what award.

Must be waiting for all our ticket money to get through to them before rushing off to buy the awards.

Either Lawrie is sitting through a boring speech or he has realized that it may seem rude to be tweeting during the awards.

Tommy Oar gets youth player.

Is there a manager of the year? Surely Ricki will be a good contender for that?
