A-League Grand Final 2013/14

Where's the best place in Wellington to watch the A-League finals? Any particular bar that YF might go and watch it at?

Best bet would be The Grand or The Pub I think.

The Pub only has one Sky Decoder though, so if something else is on that they are showing then you might be out of luck. The Grand usually have two Sky decoders, so they can show stuff out in the Garden Bar for us.

It's probably worth checking that Sky Sport are actually showing the game actually...

Edit: They are. Thank god.

Tending towards the Pub as being Friends of the Fever, although the convienence of The Grand does have it's attractions

My prediction is Roar 2-1 in extra time

Can someone confirm that the game is on Sky Sport 4? I'm at a hotel and they only have sky sport 1,2

The weather might suit WSW today. A fine pretty cool 19.

My twitter feed moaning about Jason Derulo, suddenly I'm glad we don't get the pre-game stuff for once.

I will enjoy the game but whatever the result, for me, Brisbane are the champions this season - one game can't change it.

Dammit.

WSW probably on top but their only attacking option is from set pieces and crosses into the box. Smith & North are pretty good, they shouldn't score from them.

Evenly matched although Roar have had more possession . What you would expect from  the top two teams.

Considering there hasn't been much goalmouth action it's been quite entertaining. High tempo, lots of good passing, two different tactical styles on show. Pity about the surface though - it's really starting to cut up now.

That's twice Santalab's lousy ball control has let him down in good goal scoring positions.

I was at Suncorp last weekend and it was looking pretty ripped up then as well.

Sort of Man Utd defending there. No surprise.

That's a shame for Hyphen. If you'd told me two years ago that he would turn out to be one of the best CBs in the league I would've wet myself laughing.

Disrespectful. Wanderers have been quite capable.

It's been cagey. Wanderers miss La Rocca in midfield, it's allowed Brisbane to settle in possession much more.

I sort of hope Brisbane win just for Luc Trani who is a total boss.
