A-League Tipping Competition 2019/20

Format:

8 Players per division
4 Seasons
Promotion/Relegation after each season (2 up, 2 down)
Knockout Trophy (via double game weeks during s1 & s2)
Knockout Cup (via stand alone round in Week 15 + double game weeks during s3 & s4)

Previous players will retain their league statuses if they indicate that they wish to play again before Wednesday 2th Oct 23:59.

New players are welcome to join.

Scoring:

Home win - 2 points
Draw - 3 points
Away win - 3 points
Correct win margin (by 1 or 2+) - 1 bonus point

However have communicated to organiser that I would prefer a system where everybody starts on same footing, and then gets graded into leagues and probably a further grading so that the final 'round' has a "Champions League" of the top performers (the final round could have league names reflecting their status, right down to …. A-League ha). 

[Yes, I had to start from the bottom last year]

Probably in too late to change the tried and true system … maybe next year.

I’m in

Okay, I've decided to run two sets of tables for this season. One will be the Classic version and another in a Champions League format. I will post the Classic version's tables here and link to the Champions League tables, so things don't get confusing.

Champions League tables will have everyone put randomly into groups when Week 1 kicks off. At the start of Season 2, I'll combine Top 4's together and Bottom 4's together to form new groups, repeating this in Season 3 and Season 4.
