We now want a late MC winner to push WSW into 4th? Then Nix go to Adelaide & not Parramatta

Either trip isn't great for us, at least we can stay in Sydney after the Macarthur game if it's WSW.

I guess the positive in the Adelaide result is that they now haven't won in their last four games and have conceded eight in the last two games. If we don't fall over in a heap against Macarthur (and it's a fairly big if) we might catch the Reds in a slightly vulnerable state of mind. That's the optimistic viewpoint anyway.

If we qualify it's 99% chance we play Adelaide away then (only way we can qualify and that not happen would be if we have a 6 goal turn around on Sydney's GD, e.g they lose by 3 and we win by 3).

Need a point to guarantee qualifying though, lose to the Bulls and there will be some nervous watching of the other matches (particularly the Perth one which is after ours).

Adelaide smashed us last time, but they have been conceeding a lot of goals lately so are beatable if we can find a way to shut down Goodwin.

Yes that's the very optimistic view. I had thought CCM would be the best playoff prospect (Nix unbeaten against them this season), but if we are hoping to strike team a bit down on form then it's the Reds.

And yes the APL will be very pleased, a highly likely Sydney playoff derby. Townsend blows a big kiss to Tilio.

I’m coming around to it. All finalists get one at least one finals game at home. 
I feel we’d do better with a second sold out cake tin, but if it guarantees some money/concessions to all the clubs then perhaps it’s okay. 
It’s a bit of a disadvantage of a GF against a NSW team, but then again I value being Premiers as a greater achievement than Champions.
